Chapter 13:

"DADDY!" I shout happily throwing the door open the next morning when I see his truck pull up.

He looks up frightened and smiles when he sees me running to him. I barrel into him and wrap my arms tightly around him. "I'm happy to see you to baby girl."

I beam up at him when he sets me down. "What's up?" he asks cocking his head confused.

"Dallas and I are pregnant."

"No." he says gasping in shock and excitement and I nod quickly at him. "Oh God is good. I am so happy for you baby girl." he says pulling me into a hug but a cautious one and I roll my eyes. "When are you going to the appointment?"

"Tomorrow was the soonest they have. We want to make sure everything is going good with this one."

Daddy tucks my hair behind my ear and says softly. "I'm sure it is baby girl. It's God's time. If you believe it and receive it into your heart then it'll happen."

Nodding in agreement I state "I'm believing it."

"I'm so happy for you baby." With a big smile I give him another hug. "Zoe will love to hear the news."

"I know I was going to call her but I wanted to tell you in person." I mumble and he gives me a grateful smile.

"Well i'm happy you told me first. How's the husband?"

Shaking my head I chuckle. "He's having the time of his life." Before we went to bed last night and before I was able to get dressed this morning he prayed over my stomach and my body asking God for me to be able to be healthy and our baby to be healthy. "He cried a little." I smirk and daddy frowns at me.

"I cried."

Nodding I say "I thought it was adorable daddy. I wasn't making fun." They were bound to cry not being able to have a baby for so long and then finally God allows you to have one that's a matter to cry over. "I'm gonna go call Eva. Dallas wouldn't let me call her last night."

He was very protective and held me the whole night not letting me get up to do anything. I was fine with it though because Dallas is my hubby and I love him so much. Daddy gives me another hug and then he lets me go.

When I get back into the house I smile and wave at Braylee before I go to the office and sit on the desk beside Dallas. "Hey beautiful." he says with a huge smile.

"Hey handsome."

He slides his chair over to me and rests his hands on my waist. "Ya oaky?"

"I was thinking about Braylee." I state and he gives me a questioning look. "I don't want her to go home. Her parents can't take care of her so what are they going to do when she has her baby?"

"Ya want her ta live with us?" he asks raising a brow and I nod seriously.

"She doesn't have any where else to go and I don't want her to get put on the street when her parents find out."

Dallas nods in agreement and asks "Reckon ya should talk to er about it?"

"I wanted to talk to you first."

"She's welcome here baby. I don't want 'er or 'er baby to starve or live on the street." Dallas says softly and I smile at him giving him a light kiss.

"I love you."

"I love ya more Angel."

Frowning at him I push his chair back and hop down. "Not even possible Cowboy." He chuckles amused and smacks my bum when I walk by.

With my mouth agape I turn to look at him. "Did you just....?"

Dallas smirks at me and turns back to his computer ignoring me. Shaking my head amused I leave the room and plop down on the couch beside Braylee. "How are you doing?"

She turns to me with a frown. "I don't know."

"Do you want to go home?" I ask with a cocked head.

Braylee shakes her head quickly and says "No, I think that's what i'm worried about."

Confused I sit up straighter and ask "What do you mean?"

"I don't want to go back but I don't know where I would go."

Bringing my eyebrows together I say "You'd stay here of course."

She gives me a grateful smile but shakes her head. "You just found out your pregnant Avlon. You and your husband don't need a teenager and her baby."

"I already asked Dallas and he agrees with me. My friend Eva is going to give you everything from her first baby, we are going to have to ask your parents and then switch your schools and you'd have to help out around the house but we would love for you to stay here Braylee."

Braylee nods quickly and says "I could do all of that. I can even get a job so that i'm able to buy my baby everything it needs."

"We just have to ask your parents." I say with a smile because shes a smart girl and I know she is going to be an awesome mother.

Braylee frowns and purses her lips "I don't think they would object."

That breaks my heart because she feels her parents don't love her. "We'll have to talk to them soon."
