Chapter 14

Chapter 14:

Dallas squeezes my hand in excitement and anticipation when the nurse calls my name. With a nervous smile we stand and follow the nurse into one of the many patient rooms. "If you could just lay on the bed." the nurse says with a kind smile and I follow what she says not letting go of my husbands hand.

She asks me if I had been feeling any pains or any swelling the routine stuff she has to asks and then she leaves us to wait for the Dr.

"Are you okay?" I ask Dallas when he stays rooted beside me.

He looks down at me with a smile and nods. "Just a little nervous Angel but i'm fine."

"Don't be nervous." I smile giving his hand a squeeze. "Everything Is going to be alright." I says seriously and he raises a brow at me. "I have given it to God because I know worrying isn't going to get me anywhere. He knows how much I want a baby so I gave all the worry to him and I have faith. I have faith that he will bless us with what we want."

"Oh baby." Dallas mumbles leaning down to give me a kiss. "You being so strong in this just took all the worry I had."

I smile at him but don't say anything because a knock sounds at the door. It opens and Dr. Amy sticks her head in. Amy is the best Dr. you could have ever found. She's sweet and understands everything I have been through so shes not rude or rough she's gentle and kind. "Avlon Dallas." She greets with a huge smile closing the door behind her. "So we know we are pregnant?" she asks with a slight emphasis on know.

When Dallas called he assured her that we KNOW we are pregnant. she got a kick out of it but she believes it because she knows how strongly we believe in God. "Yes, ma'am." Dallas says with a grin.

"Alright if you could just lift up your shirt." she says going over to get that cold jelly. I lift it up and smile my protruding stomach. IT's not sticking out much but just enough so I look a little chubby. She smile and squirts it on and then starts moving it around with the machine thingy. She looks at the machine as she does this and the she presses some buttons and a thumping sounds int the room.

"Oh wow." Dallas says amazed. We got to hear our other baby's heart beats but this one is thunderous and loud but it sounds kind of off.

"OH!" Doc says and I look at her worriedly.

"Is something wrong?" I ask and Dallas leans forward to look at the screen.

Doc looks back at me and smiles largely. "To you I don't think two babies is a problem."

My mouth about hits the ground im in shock. Not only had God blessed us with one baby but he blessed us with two. The two babys we had lost. "Oh GOD!" I mumble starting to get teary eyed. "Dallas." I mumble looking back at him to see tears falling freely from his eyes. He looks down at me and pulls me into  a hug. "We're having two babies."

"God truly is a blessing." He says a little choked up. I smile and kiss his forehead when he goes to stand.

"This is just amazing. Now we'll have three little munchkins running around the house."
