A Little Too Late

Chapter 20

Nicole sat up and frowned, this wasn't the guest room she was staying at and it wasn't any of the guys rooms either. Where in the hell was she?

Just as she pulled the covers back to get out of bed, the door opened, "Hey Trouble," Gabe beamed as he walked into the room. "Good morning."

"Where the fuck am I?" she asked looking around confused.

"You fucking like?" He asked excitedly.

"I mean, it's amazing," she nodded as she took in the underwater themed room. "But this isn't the room I've been staying in."

"Come look," he was literally about to start bouncing with excitement. He opened the door and shouted, "she's fucking awake!"

"Hey Baby," North smiled as he came in to the room.

"Just what the fuck is going on?" She asked starting to get upset with not receiving any answers.

"You didn't tell her?" Axel asked as he came in.

"No," she shook her head, "now what the fuck is going on? Where the fuck am I?"

"Language," Owen scolded as he walked into the room.

"Don't talk to me like that, Blackbourne," she glared. "You aren't my father nor are you my boyfriend or Dom, you don't get the right to use that tone on me. I have every fucking right to be pissed when I wake up in a completely different place than I was expecting, and no one is telling me anything. You may be used to waking up in different places all the fucking time being big shot actors, but I don't and I don't fucking like it. Now someone fucking tell me what the hell is going on or I'm going home!"

"Calm down Angelos Mou," Silas said softly as he took a few steps toward her. "We're at our new place that we bought awhile back. We finished getting everything set up so when Doc cleared you last night, we brought you here. This is your room."

"Your new place?" she asked confused, and he nodded. "The one that is close to my place?" he nodded again. "The one you bought when you came back and decided to stay?" they all nodded. "What about your old place? Why would you set up a room for me in your new place?"

"Because you need a room since you are staying with us for a bit," Kota explained.

"But this looks like a permanent room with wallpaper and everything," she frowned and crossed her arms. "This doesn't look like a guest room."

"This place has plenty of rooms, Princess," Victor smiled softly. "This will be your room for whenever when you stay here. Jess and Momma have rooms as well," he wanted to say something else but he knew he had to tread carefully right now.

"When the time comes and we decide to go back to work, all of you will have keys to the place for if you want to get away," Marc explained, "No one has this address and it's hidden from record so it's completely private."

"I even set up a goddamn nursery for the twins," Gabe beamed. "So do you fucking like it?"

"You set up a nursery for the twins?" She asked in disbelief and he nodded.

"Yeah, that way you won't have to fucking bring anything over when you visit," he beamed. "Plus I was fucking thinking that you could stay with us after you fucking have them so we can fucking help out with taking care of them while you goddamn recover. Momma and Jess will be fucking working so they can't help you all the goddamn time and we can. Plus with Doc, he can make sure they are fine and all that shit. So what do you fucking think?"

"I think I've fucking woke up in the goddamn Twilight Zone," She admitted as she took in the room more now and spotted little touches that just said her, like the Naruto, Buffy, and Harry Potter DVD collections and her favorite books in the bookcase.

"Well, you haven't," Luke smirked. "This is your room Cupcake and through that door there is the nursery for the twins." He pointed to the door across from her bed and she opened it then gasped.

"Gabriel Coleman, what in the world?" She asked shocked as she took in the 100 acre wood room.

"You like?" He asked excitedly and she nodded.

"It's like I just stepped into the actual woods, how in the?" She whispered as she noticed the crib had the characters hanging down from the mobile and the rocking chair was next to where Kanga and Roo were on the wallpaper with Pooh floating by the crib while Piglet was following Pooh and it looked like Tigger was peeking over. Eeyore was in his tent by the reading nook while Owl was standing on the branch above the reading tree. Rabbit was standing by the dresser that was labeled that it was filled with burp clothes and swaddling blankets and Nicole had to admit it was beyond what she could ever imagine. A few tears slipped down her cheeks and she sniffled. "You are such a damn Meanie, Gabriel Coleman!"
