"Hey, is that?" Victor asked as the group of men walked into a restaurant a week later. The men looked to where Victor was looking and sure enough, there were the three men that held Nicole and Jessica's hearts talking to one another.
"Maybe we can explain?" Luke asked hopefully.
"We can try," Owen said as he started walking over to them.
"Hello Gentlemen," Kadrick barely acknowledged. "What can we do for you?"
"May we join you and talk?" Owen asked.
"Sure," Niccolò shrugged. "But you only have any hour."
"Very well," Axel nodded. "Do you know who we are?"
"Yes," Jasper nodded. "You are Dakota's best friends and he is Jessica's older brother."
"You are also famous actors," Kadrick stated, "and you let that fame get to your heads. Anything else? Because if you are hoping that we will help you get back into our wives' lives, then you are sorely mistaken, we won't help you. It's up to them if you are in their lives and they said no. You hurt them for the last time."
"How did you find out where we live?" Niccolò asked.
"I saw the group picture of the five of you on Mom's wall with your first names and when I ran your names, it pulled up a picture of Nikki and you, Niccolò, in front of your latest five star restaurant," Corey admitted. "I ran your full name and it pulled up the property deed for all five of you."
"Her name is Nicole," Kadrick corrected. "She does not like to be called Nikki."
"Sorry," Corey nodded, "it's habit."
"Can we ask how you met?" Victor asked politely even though it hurt to be talking to them.
The men chuckled, "I first met Nicole when I was at her office talking to a different lawyer about some legal work for one of my restaurants," Niccolò explained. "She came in and corrected the lawyer about some sort of legal terms and work then shooed him out of the office and took over my case for me. As thanks, offered her to come to my restaurant but she declined. I asked if she was taken and she said no but she was a single parent so it would not be feasible. I told her that her family was welcome anytime and gave her my private number to call anytime she wanted to bring her family."
Flashback
"I'm so glad you came," Niccolò beamed as Nicole, Jessica, Erica, and two tiny babies came in nervously.
"Thank you," Nicole smiled shyly. "This place is so beautiful. I just hope the babies don't bother anyone."
"It's a family restaurant, so they are perfectly fine, I promise," he smiled as he pulled her chair out for her to sit then did the same for Erica and Jessica. "Here are your menus, order whatever you want. It's on me for all the help you gave me."
"Thank you," Nicole smiled.
"How old are they?" he asked as he looked at the sleeping babies.
"Two months," Nicole beamed.
"May I inquire—"
"The father chose to walk away," Erica interrupted slyly. "It's just us girls."
"What an idiot," he scoffed. "Alright, I'll go get your drinks and give you a time to look over everything."
"There you are, Man," Kadrick said as he walked in, "I need to talk to...whoa, hello, I'm Kadrick. May I ask how you know my best friend, lovely ladies?"
Nicole chuckled while Niccolò shook his head, "This is the lawyer I was telling you about Nicole, her newborns, her sister Jessica and their mother Erica."
