"Come on, Jess," Kota sighed, "please let us explain." He sighed and tossed his phone down onto the table. "She hung up...again."

"How are we supposed to explain things if she and Mom won't listen to us?" Luke asked exasperatedly.

"We already released the public statement as well," Corey shook his head. "But it doesn't seem to have made a difference when it comes to them."

"Can you really blame them though?" Silas asked as he looked out the window. "Put yourselves in Nicole and Jess' mind. They trusted us and then Nicole saw us with our coworker, of course she jumped to the worst conclusion after everything we have done to them. We have no one to blame but ourselves."

"So how do we fix that?" Luke asked. "How can we fix this?"

Silas shrugged, "I have no idea."

(Meanwhile)

Nicole sat her phone down Blackbourne Toma family rehearsing for upcoming romcom flick due to be released next year. She shook her head as she rolled her eyes.

Yeah, that's what she saw, she scoffed as she got up and headed to the kitchen. If that were the case then where were the cameras and assistants and lights and all that? She knew what she saw and it was not acting. She had seen those touches way too many times in the past.

Shaking her head of the thoughts she made herself something to eat then sat at her desk to get some work done before she got too tired.

Her door being unlocked made her look up and smile as Jessica walked in, "Hey," she smiled as her best friend walked in with bags in her hands.

"Hey," Jess smiled as she dropped everything then headed her way. "How was your day?"

"Fine," Nicole shrugged as she went back to work.

"And the press release statement?" Jess asked nervously as she dropped her keys onto the table.

"Bunch of bullshit," Nicole shook her head. "I know what I saw Jess, and it wasn't rehearsing."

"Of course they weren't," Jess nodded in agreement, "if they were then there would be cameras and a million people running around and the place would be sectioned off from the public and yet it wasn't. They are just a bunch of assholes."

"So you haven't been talking to them?" Nicole asked and Jess shook her head. "I hope it's not just because of me. I mean Dakota is your brother after all."

"Who is an ass," Jess smirked. "Don't worry, Nikki, it's not just because of you. They screwed with me and Momma as well." She sat at the table and grinned. "Are you ready to go decorate the nursery? I sold the last of the stuff the guys bought earlier today and bought the last of the stuff we needed."

"Yeah," Nicole smiled as she saved her work. "That sounds like fun."

"Even if it's not," Jessica chuckled, "we need to get it done before they decide they are ready to join us."

"That's true," Nicole nodded as she stood. "Alright, let's get this done. So what all did you get this time?" Jess started opening the bags and Nicole smiled. "That's cute. It's perfect."

"Yeah, see? We don't need those losers, we got this," Jess smiled as she started putting together the mobile so she could hang it on the crib later.

"Yeah," Nicole smiled softly, "we have this. All I need is you and Momma."

Jessica hugged her, "Exactly."

They spent the rest of the day getting everything set up exactly how they wanted it and then they decided to order pizza for dinner. "Jess?" Nicole asked as they sat on the couch and watched American Ripper. She had become lost in her thoughts for a bit.

"Yeah?" Jess asked curiously.

"Thanks," Nicole smiled softly. "Just thanks."

"Of course," Jessica chuckled. She thought for a few minutes then sat her plate down, "have you thought about what we are going to do when it comes time to have them?"

Nicole shook her head, "No, honestly, I have no idea. I would like to have a home birth, that midwife we saw has been wonderful. I like her but I also know that we may have to go to the hospital. I'm being realistic and not getting my hopes up."

"Well, don't forget that lady did say we can always try a home birth and just have the phone close by just in case we need to rush to the hospital. Mom also said that Dr. Roberts knows if the situation and we can keep the trip confidential if we need to."

"Oh yeah, I forgot," Nicole smiled, "see, this is why I have you."
