Three years ago...
On the coast of Australia, three children sat, all sitting on towels a reasonable distance away from the water. They sat in silence none of them knowing how to start the conversation. What the girls didn't know was that their lives would change for the better.
The reality of the situation was dawning on them, the danger that they were lured by just living their lives.
Their gift is both a blessing and a curse.
A blessing to change and adapt to water with just a touch of the liquid, and a voice to entrance and enchant men.
A curse that transformation will always happen, and that the moon controlled us like it does the waves.
With this newly bestowed power at such a young age mistakes were made, sightings, and secrets were shared.
Scientists prowled the ocean, their home, searching for them to exploit their gifts.
They had no other choice they knew there was no other way, they knew what they had to do...
run
Run and never look back, not for their family, or even each other, survival and secrecy were key to no loose ends
They had to be selfless for their family, and any other supernatural creatures out there.
They would be running for a long time, but at least they had each other.
