The day had been going as smoothly as it could be. I mean with my recent discovery I had spent the entire day looking over my shoulder, I had no idea what Lydia was but now that I had opened my eyes I realized this town was infested. Infested with pests...

I hadn't Identified who yet was responsible but the smell was pungent, at first, I thought it was BO but nope turns out it was the smell of werewolves; wet dogs.
Right now I was on my way to the stands in the field behind our school. There was a lacrosse game today I thought I might at least not draw attention to myself and blend in.
Luckily matilda and Isabelle had thought the same and came along so I wouldn't be alone.
I sat in the stands watching the game, Boyd the newest team player was demolishing the other team, which I'm pretty sure was good; I don't understand lacrosse.
However, halfway through the game, I smelt something in the air. I turned to the girls to see if they sensed it too but they seemed to smell nothing realized that whoever the person was they were so scared that he radiated their fear through a body of water to me.
One of the downsides to my powers is to manipulate it I have to also feel whatever is around it, so it sucks when someone drowns nearby. With no other choice, I got up to save myself from feeling guilt.
The girls turned to me confused about why I was standing up.
"Slushy," I said loudly over the crowd making a drink motion with my hand.
They nodded in acknowledgment.
I let out a breath of relief as I walked down the row, I had successfully tricked the girls: point victoria. Well, it was short-lived as Isabelle called out after me.
"Hey, V!" she yelled, I stopped worried they noticed my obvious hidden intentions, I slowly turned back around fiddling with my jacket zipper.
"Yes?" I replied as I waited with bated breath.
"Get me a blue raspberry will you?" she then said, I was once again at ease, I nodded as I carried on walking.
Now time to save someone.
**************
I walked down the corridors of the school tracking the scent. I was on high alert my head snapping from side to side at the slightest noise.
Then I got to the pool doors my hand stood against the doors preparing myself for what was on the other side.
Then I heard a yelp coming from the other side of the door.
