Now if there is one thing I hate on this earth it is running. That is why I'm currently faking sunstroke to get out of cross-country. I covered my eyes with my hand as I looked at the unimpressed face of the coach."Coach it's just so bright... and hot, I don't think I can run today" I spoke trying to convince the man that I was on the verge of death.
"Victoria you could have half a limb missing and I would still make you run." The coach said gesturing the snapping of a bone as he stared at me with an emotionless stare.
"Fine! I'll run, I'll run and I'll probably die deep in the forest thanks for the help!" I snapped after not receiving the answer I was hoping for.
"Good, make sure to pace yourself" Coach replied now with a smile, obviously ignoring my sarcasm and patting my shoulder before walking away.
I groaned as I sulked back over to Isabelle who was watching from the side a huge grin on her face.
"Wipe the smirk," I grumbled as she continued to taunt my failed attempt at avoiding P.E.
"Sunstroke, that's a new one last week it was hypothermia," Isabelle spoke teasingly.
"Yeah well it was cold, and now it's hot my body can't handle the change." I countered as we went to join the back of the line.
I look over the gathering of students, my eyes catching on the two twins leaning over Isaac who looked like he was about to pounce.
The whistle sounded sending everyone off into a run, I noticed Isaac and Scott in a heated conversation ahead before Isaac ripped away from Scott's hand sprinting ahead.
Scott was standing still by the time I reached him, "What was that?" I asked.
"We need to go," Scott said ignoring my question and running after Isaac who had disappeared. I huffed at him ignoring me but started running along with him.
We came to a clearing of the track of the running path to see Ethan and Aiden holding each of Isaac's arms in a painful position.
"Ethan, I always forget-- how many bones in the human body?" Aiden smirked,
"I don't know. Let's count!" Ethan replied tauntingly an evil smile on his face.
Which was immediately wiped from his face as Scott ran and punched him in the face, sending than flying and releasing his hold on Isaac.
"That's one.." Scott said looking at a shocked Aiden, distracting him from the siren running at him.
Aiden turned around hearing my run trying to counter whatever attack I was about to launch at him, but it was too late because by the time he had turned around, I was already in front of him.
