Here we go again, new school. What was this my hundredth first day?
I guess I can't complain moving kept us secret and therefore alive, and anyway I always had my sisters by my side. Not biological sisters but they might as well have been.
I don't know where I would be without matilda and Isabelle, dealing with this secret alone would have been impossible.
"Here we go again," Isabelle said sassily rolling her eyes.
"Hey, we know why we have to do this " Matilda replied pushing open the school doors to reveal the main hallway.
"It doesn't look that bad, I mean it's a lot better than the last one, remember booger boy?" I spoke trying to give a positive side.
" V! " Isabelle whisper-yelled.
"we said we would never speak of that again" Matilda spoke closing her eyes to rid her brain of the horrible image.
We paused and collectively shuddered, my mind still on that horrific scene from our previous first day.
" I just don,t understand how it can drip that far ?" I carried on.
The girls collectively groaned. Before walking ahead, I quickly walked back in sync with them we finally reached the front office and were given our timetables.
Luckily Isabelle had phoned the school and told them that we had separation anxiety and had to be in the same classes or else we would freak out which was a good call on her part.
Sadly she forgot to mention our inability to do any form of exercise; so we had gym for our first lesson. We navigated our way through the school until we came to the gym doors.
We had talked to the coach who was more focused on us getting into our gym kits than the fact we were new and didn't have one. Luckily he said we could skip this one out, so we sat on a bench watching our new classmates climb a rock wall.
Which was fun until a girl struggled to climb anymore, I heard a girl say she had epilepsy and mentally cursed the coach for making her climb. What made me even angrier were the snickers of evil laughter coming from the crowd.
I was liking this school less and less.
****************
I had just left math class and was on my way to the canteen when all of a sudden a saw the smart redhead from gym class looking terrified by a wall. It took me a moment to realize who was scaring her.
A boy with blonde hair held her to the wall with his arms boxing her in, I immediately was overcome with pure rage.
I strayed off my path towards the canteen and made a sharp left heading straight over to the duo. My hand shot out and grasped the back of the blondies top and yanked him away from the scared girl.
I glared at him, before saying "you've got 5 seconds to leave before i humiliate you in front of everyone here", he looked at me in shock and anger before glancing once more at the redhead and scoffing, he then turned and left.
She stood still frozen before I reached out for her arm, but as soon as I touched her skin I was flooded with images of death and danger.
I pulled my hand back in shock and gasped. I looked at her not worried anymore but wary.
"V!" someone yelled breaking me out of my intense thoughts.
I looked up and saw matilda standing a few feet away, Isabelle standing behind her, I looked back at the now confused girl in front of me not taking my eyes off her as I walked away. I only turned around I reached the girls.
"What was that all about ?! She was obviously angry at the weird scene that took place.
They both stared at me expecting an answer, I was pulled out of my racing thoughts and could only say one thing.
"We aren't the only supernatural creatures in this town..." I breathed out still in shock.
The girls abruptly stopped both shocked at my discovery.
"Shit!"
