10. Princess Akshu Meets Her King

Hello Everyone, Hope you all are having a great day! Before moving to the story I just want to say I'm really sorry for keeping you guys waiting for so long, really got stuck with urgent office work so was not able to check the site, I tried writing while travelling to work but I was not that happy with the outcome so ended up deleting more than 3 draft update. Finally, with a calm mind I finished chapter 10, also Thank you so much for all the DMs I received asking if I was fine or when I am going to update the next chapter. It really makes me so happy that you all like this story so much It means alot, so here comes the chapter 10! HAPPY READING :)

Abhimanyu rushed inside the emergency ward where Akshara was kept only to find it empty, leaving him more panicked

Abhimanyu saw the empty bed, He emotionally raised his one hand touching the pillow where Akshara was lying sometime back, "No, please...just like before please help me out here Mahadev...please don't let anything happen to her ", Abhimanyu muttered and left the room.

Abhimanyu came out of the ward and asked one nurse, "Akshara Gonenka she was admitted here" Abhimanyu said pointing at the emergency ward and continued, "Where is she taken to?"

"Oh that coma patient, she was taken to the OT some time back as her family decided to take her off the life support", Nurse said sadly thinking about young women with such an unfair fate.

Abhimanyu's heart went numb hearing that and dreaded thinking, "I won't let that happen"

Abhimanyu ran towards the OT and rushed inside leaving the Gonenkas standing outside shocked by his action also no security stopped him as he was a consultant doctor so they thought he went inside to monitor the patient

As soon as he was inside he froze at the spot of one nurse detaching all the Ivs from Akshara's hand and the other nurse removing the oxygen tube from her nose, he looked at the electrocardiogram to see the flatline which means, "No!!!!" Abhimanyu shouted and ran towards his lifeline.

Abhimanyu pulled up the lifeless Akshara and wrap her in his arms but like always that soft form didn't hug him back instead both her arms fell back in the air.

"No!!!! Akshu please Akshu I know you are here, you can't go please I will make sure my voice reaches you! PLEASE AKSHU DON'T TORTURE ME LIKE THIS!!! " Abhimanyu said with tears rolling down his eyes.

Akshara's subconsciousness:

Akshara found herself standing over something which looked like clouds, she looked at the surrounding where she saw two tunnels at each end one on her right and the other on her left.

"Where am I?", Akshara thought confused looking at both the route

Though Akshara was confused and didn't know which path to take, she was so much at peace right now just the way she used to feel when she was with her Abhi or when she was with her parents, though she liked it here but she can't stand here forever she has to choose a path.

Akshara saw a tunnel on the left from where she could hear some voices but it wasn't much audible to her so to listen clearly she took a step towards the left tunnel but as soon as she took her first step all that calmness was gone it was replaced by immense pain and heartache, which she couldn't take it after being in peace after so long so she again stepped back to where she was standing.

Then, Akshara looked at the right tunnel and took a step towards it and nothing changed there where no heartache, no pain so Akshara concluded, "This is where I should be going"
