(Chapter v)
"That's right, Nice to see you again, Rin-chan." The unknown girl said.
"Aikida Niomi?" I said.
"So, you do remember me?" She said.
"Why wouldn't I? You were the first person who talked to me while I was in school back then." I said.
"I heard, you got a girlfriend, don't ask how I know though." Niomi said.
"Actually, we broke up. Well, I broke up with her." I said.
"Awe, how sad? Well, you'll alway have me?" Niomi said, as she hugged my waist.
"Yeah, thanks. But, I really regret it. She looked even more hurt, I only did what I did for her sake." I said.
"She'll be fine, and she'll move on. You two broke up, nothing you can do about it now, but move on." Niomi explained.
"I know. But, I never gave her a clear explanation for why I wanted to break up." I said.
"Move on, Rin. She understands, stop sulking so much. Let's take a photo for old time sakes." Niomi said, as she pulled me close to her, and smiled, taking the photo.
"So you still into softball?" I asked.
"How did you know? I thought you would've forgot." Niomi said, as she glanced up from her phone, and back down to finish typing something.
"I mean, you are tossing a softball in the air. I took a wild guess." I said.
She gave a small chuckle, and put her phone in her pocket, as she looked back at me.
"Rin you wanna hang out tonight maybe?" She asked.
I took a long thought, and then I made my mind.
"Just for a bit. I got practice tomorrow morning." I said.
TIMESKIP
I walked along the streets of Syndey as Niomi guided me through.
"Where are we going?" I asked her.
"You'll know when we get there." She said, as she grabbed my wrist, and dragged me along.
We soon arrived at a rollerskating rink, and head inside. We payed for our skates, and put them on.
"So, is this where I tell you that I don't know how to skate?" Rin said with a slight smirk creeping on his face.
"Don't worry, I can help you." Niomi said, as she grabbed my hand, and walked us out onto the rink.
"Try to balance yourself, and start slowly moving your feet." Niomi explained.
"Wow. What helpful advice." I said sarcastically.
"Come on, let's have some fun!" Niomi said, grabbing my hand, and skating off.
The DJ was blasting music as we skated around for a bit. I soon sort of got the hang of skating.
"Alright, everyone on the floor, this next song, Get a partner, and take it slow." The DJ said.
Slow romantic music started playing, and people started grabbing hands, and skating slowly around the rink.
"Seriously, this isn't some ball?" I said.
"Yeah, but so what?!" Niomi said, as she grabbed my hand, and we joined in.
"Um. I don't feeling-
"Oh, sorry! I just thought we were having fun! Didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable?!" Niomi reassured.
"No, It's just I-I‐
"Your breakup? Rin, you two broke up. You can do whatever you want, you ended ties with her for her sake, you did the right thing okay!" Niomi assured me again.
Timeskip
"I'll see you later Rin. It was nice to see you again after so long." Niomi said.
"Yeah, same here. Oh, and thanks." I said.
"For what?" Niomi asked.
"For cheering me up, I've kind of been sulking about breaking up with Y/n." I said.
"No problem, bye." Niomi said, as she headed into her college dormitory. I waved, and the moment, she was out of the distance, I headed on back.
Niomi's right, I did the right thing...
