You woke up that morning at 8 am, and headed to your closet to change into your swimsuit with your Takoyomi swim jacket on top. You did your usual morning routine and then headed out. You had a big day ahead of you.
The Newcomers Tournament
You headed to the train station and Kenma happened to be there as well. When you arrived you stood waiting for the train with Kenma.
"You ready for the big day?" I asked.
"Ready than I'll ever be." Kenma said.
Then the train arrived, and you both got onto the train to head to the location of the Newcomers Tournament. During the ride you got a call from Haru.
"Hey Haru." You answered the phone.
"Y/n. When are you going to be a here?" He asked.
"Um? In like an hour, or so." You said.
"See you then. Okay." He said.
"Yeah. Bye." You said, and the phone ended.
You, and Kenma chatted a bit during the ride; and the rest of the way you just looked out the window at the scenery. When the ride ended, you headed straight to the Newcomers Tournament. The place where it was held was huge.
"Dang, this place is insane!" You said.
"Yeah. And if you get the qualifying time, you'll get invited to the all-japan invitational." Kenma said.
"Y/n. How's it going at Takoyomi?" A familiar voice echoed from behind you.
You turned around, and saw the sight of a blue-haired boy who looked like you.
"Haru!!" You said, as you gave him a hug.
"Y/n? Whose this? I thought your boyfriend was in Australia?" She asked.
You pulled away, and looked back at Kenma. "Oh, you never met. Haru, this is Kenma Kozume. She was my rival in the past. And Kenma, this is my brother Haru." You said, introducing the two.
"Oh yeah. I remember you. You were at preliminaries last year." He said.
"Y/n? Did you forget I was here?" A brown-haired boy said.
"Makoto! Sorry I didn't see you there." You said, as you ran and gave the boy a hug as well.
"Oh. And this is Makoto. Makoto, this is Kenma." You said introducing the other two.
"I know her. Her little brother talks none stop about how he has this cool older sister whose gonna be a professional swimmer." Makoto said.
"Really? Kaito said that about me? Awe, I knew he loves me! But, when he tell you that?" Kenma asked.
