Chapter Eight

Buddha's P.O.V

Buddha and the boys where now back at the manor. The boys all agreed to clean out the game room to make room for Ray and all her medical equipment she will need. As well as being able to give her some privacy.  It was very tense in the manor everyone here had some kind of connection to Ray Mond in their own unique way. Buddha and Tony have known Yuno and Ray since they moved to the city and even though they weren't as close to Ray they always tried to help her grow and prosper in the city whenever they could. Then there was Marty who they know had some weird love hate relationship with Ray. Buddha also knew he had to watch Raymond because if he was willing to spill blood over a misunderstanding, he didn't know what Raymond would do now.

Buddha was broken out of his thoughts by Tony walking up to him. "Hey man, everything is moved out now. Raymond and Marty or moving the medical equipment in now, we should be done in the next thirty minutes." Tony said. " Yeah, OK. I just finished finding a home visit doctor. He will be here tomorrow when they get out of the hospital." Buddha saw a look of exhaustion on Tony's face and imagined his face mirrored that. " I think we all need to get some rest because i'm sure tomorrow will be even more chaotic." 

April's P.O.V

April was numb to everything she didn't even know how she got back to Little Seoul. She was unable to move the only thing playing through her head were the images of her gorl. She just couldn't understand what was going on. This couldn't be real, it was all adream and she would wake up tomorrow to her gorl cornering weed outside the gate with all her crackhead energy. Finally the car door opened and she saw Ramee. " Come on April lets go inside. You have been sitting here for almost thirty minutes." April didn't even realize how much time had passed, but she knew if she stood up her legs would give out from all the shock of the day. Ramee noticing she wouldn't be moving any time soon picked her up and carried her into his apartment and setting her on the bed. " I called Lucas and asked him to bring you some food. You need to eat you haven't all day." Ramee told her. April saw Ramee turning to leave. " Please don't go. I don't want you to leave." April said her voice shaking. " I won't leave i'm just going to move the car out of the way." 

April watched him leave and just stared ahead with a dead stare. When Ramee came back she noticed he had a UWU Cafe takeout box. " Lucas brought your food. He also said to not worry about Pixel Perfect and if you need anything to call him." Ramee said as he walked towards April and sat down next to her. " Ramee tell me this is all a dream. Tell me this can't be real. I mean who would even want to hurt Ray, everyone she meets loves her. " April said her voice wavering the worse the more she spoke. Ramee didn't know what to say. "April You know I can't lie to you but I can tell you that we will find whoever did this. I can guarantee that when news of this spreads over half the city will be looking for this bastard." Ramee said trying to console April however he could. " But what if we don't find him. I mean he stayed hidden fro six months with Ray how do you know we will find him." April said. " He was only able to hide that long because we didn't know he was hiding. No one knows this city like Chang Gang. We will find him. I wouldn't be surprised if there were multiple bounties on this guys head by tomorrow." Ramee said. He was actually making her feel a little better. She knew that the gang wouldn't let this go. "Do you know how long she is going to be in the hospital. Her injuries looked really bad and i know Ray hates hospitals." April asked. "Actually Randy texted me when i was moving the car. Apparently Yuno made some deal with the doctors and Ray is moving to The Clean Manor when she wakes up. The doctors all agreed that since no one knows what the guy who did this looks like and the severity of her memory loss it would be best for her to recovery elsewhere."  

This finally made something click in Aprils mind. She had totally forgotten about the memory loss. Her gorl didn't remember her. What if she didn't want to be friends with her. What if she never remember all of their fun times together, all of their talks, and all of their Esteban and Barney adventures. What if her gorl wasn't her gorl anymore.  " Is Yuno going to let us see her or is he going to keep everyone away." April asked. " I don't know, but that is a task for tomorrow. Right now you need to eat and get some rest. It has been a long and emotional day." Ramee said leaving April no room for discussion. " Ok. I guess you are right. Just promise you won't leave me. " April asked. " I promise i will be here when you wake up so just sleep." Ramee promised. That was all April need to hear before she let sleep take her.
