Chapter Twelve

Yuno's P.O.V

Yuno was sitting on the couch staring at the door that was hiding his sister. He knew he should probably try to get some sleep,but he just couldn't leave her. Yuno's line of sight was blocked by a tall white haired Russian man. "Yuno she is fine, you need to go get some sleep, the boys and I are here. You can let us help you." Raymond said. Yuno let put a long sigh and ran his hand through his hair. " I can't leave her, what if something happens." Raymond moved to sit on the couch as well. "How about this, why don't you go check on her real quick and go shower and sleep. If she wakes up before you I will wake you up and I promise I won't leave." Raymond said trying to convince Yuno to take care of himself. "I will go shower but I won't nap. April and her doctor should both be here soon and I need to be up for that." Raymond nodded his head in understanding. That was all Yuno needed to get up and head upstairs to shower. 

Once Yuno was finally alone in the bathroom all his emotions hit him at once and he couldn't stop himself from crying this time. He stood there in the shower as tears streamed down his face. He didn't know how much more he could handle. He still didn't understand how this happened. How did he fail so badly as a brother. He knew that he could never make up for this but he would start by trying to find out who did all of these horrible things to his sister. By the time Yuno got out of the shower he realized an hour had passed by. As he was walking down the stairs he heard whispering voices. When he finally saw that it was April and by the look on her face he knew it wasn't a good thing they were talking about.

"What is going on?" Yuno asked knowing that he wasn't going to like what he was about to hear. April took a second before answering. "I invited Max to come over to the manor." Yuno was furious. His only rule was for April to come alone and she already broke it. "Why?" Yuno said his tone coming off harsh. "He said he knew something about Ray's disappearance and that she was getting messages from some stalker when I saw him at UWU. I thought you would want to hear the whole story from him." April said not being able to look Yuno in the eyes as she spoke. Yuno felt his rage increase tenfold. "You mean Max knew something the whole time she was missing and never said anything?" Yuno was going to kill Max. "I don't think he knew she was missing. He should be here soon and you can ask questions then." April said still not looking Yuno in the eyes. Yuno was about to respond but was interrupted by a knock on the door. Yuno went to open the door and saw the doctor. He took a minute to calm down his previous conversation would have to wait. 

Max's P.O.V

Max sat in his car parked out front the CB Manor trying to build up the courage to go knock on the door. He knew Yuno was going to kill him. Max still didn't know why he never spoke up sooner. He knew something was wrong but he promised his boss that he wouldn't tell anybody. A promise Max now regrets making. He finally worked up enough courage to get out of the car and make his way to the door. Max stood in front of the door for another two minutes before he worked up enough nerve to face Yuno. He knocked on the door and when it opened was surprised to see Raymond greet him. "Hi I am here to see April and Yuno. April said she would tell yall I am coming." Max said as he stared at the floor to avoid the death glare he was receiving. "You can wait for them in the living room." Was all the Russian man said before he turned and walked away.

Max went and sat on the couch waiting for Yuno to come see him. He was pretty sure before the conversation is over that Yuno is going to try to kill him. It was so obvious when Max looks back but he was just to dumb and scared to speak up. Max was broken out of his thoughts by the sound of a door slamming. When he looks up Max sees Yuno storming towards him with a murderous glare. Yuno grabbed Max by the collar and yanks him up. " You better tell me everything and I swear if you leave anything out you won't see tomorrow." Yuno growled out. "Yuno let him down, he can't talk if you have him by the throat." April said trying to calm Yuno's anger.

Yuno set Max back down and went to sit on the couch. Max sat across from Yuno and April trying to figure out where to start. " So what happened to my sister?" Yuno asked why more calm this time, but Max could still see the rage bubbling in his eyes. "It is a really long explanation it all started around the last Valentine's Day she was around and I don't have all the details about what happened before she asked for my help." Max said  "Just give us all the details you have Max anything helps." April said. Max to a minute before he continued. "She told me she meet the guy on Valentine's Day. That they went to the beach and the guy hit her and she accidently lit their clothes on fire. Then Tommy picked her up from the hospital and she thought she would never see him again." Max stopped to catch his breathe.

"OK, so how does this have to do with what happened? I already talked to Tommy and he said the guy was dead already." Yuno asked. "Yuno let him finish." April said. Max sighed before he started talking again. " I don't know what Tommy told you but the guy is definitely not dead. Ray said that after that date the guy just started showing up places she was at and weird things started happening. "What do you mean by weird things?" Yuno asked. "The guy started showing up random places that she was and she started getting pictures of him with other people with threats. Then there was the cage incident which Tommy or Ramee would know more about. Ray also thought the guy was dead until the messages didn't stop and only got worse instead of every now and then she started getting multiple texts everyday. Some of the texts came with pictures of her selling or hanging out and once it was a picture of her asleep in Vinny's apartment." Yuno slams his hands on the coffee table. "Why didn't my sister tell me about this or tell anybody?" Yuno asked. Max could see the rage in his eyes. 

"She couldn't tell anybody the guy told her that if anybody found out all the pictures he had of her gang's illegal activities would be sent to the cops. She then tried to block the guy but he just started leaving her messages and gifts through me."  Max stopped because the next part was hard for him to talk about. " Why didn't you tell anyone about the messages." Yuno asked. "I will explain that in a few minutes. The day I told her about the first message was the first day I ever saw pure terror cross Ray's face. We were at UwU and she dragged me into the bathroom and begged me to never mention the messages to anyone else or others would end up seriously hurt. Ray broke down in that bathroom and so I promised her on my life that I would never tell another soul about these messages. I regret that promise every day. She slowly started to spiral  after that. She started cornering all the time and distancing herself from her gag and Tommy. Then she started drinking and taking a lot of drugs almost every night. She was so paranoid that the only way for her to relax was to be intoxicated." Max stopped to let this sink in. Yuno had a dark look on his face and April had tears streaming down her cheeks. "I remember this, Mari, Novah, and I tried to question her on all her mysterious disappearances and why she always looked strung out. Ray told us to mind our own business. We all thought she was just stressed because of the weed situation." April said while sobbing. 

Max started his story again. "The only thing keeping Ray from completely breaking was the thought that she was protecting her family and then her family turned on her. She had her thing with the body pillow and then her fight with Randy. It destroyed her. She came to the cafe that night  saying she had to get out of town and that the guy was coming for her. She asked me to leave with her because she needed help. I told Ray she needed to go home and rest and we could talk when she woke up. I knew what had happened over the last week and Tommy had called before she showed up saying Ray was going crazy. I thought it was all the stress and paranoia coupled with the drugs. Ray told me she couldn't go home she had to leave the city that night but she would text me when she was safe." Max stopped trying to keep the tears from spilling. "I wish I had left with her that day, but later that night she texted saying she was safe and after that I received a text every few days so I thought she was safe." Max looked up to see the look of grief spread across Yuno's face. " I'm so sorry I wish I had left with her or even told someone about the situation sooner. I know you can never forgive me but I am so sorry." Max said as the tear finally started flowing.  " What was his name you still haven't told me?" Yuno asked trying to hold back the last of his rage. " I'm sorry Ray never told me, but I am pretty sure Tommy knows because Ray always said it was the guy from Valentine's day. I am so sorry I can't be any more help." Max said. Yuno stood up and walked away as he pulled out his phone for what Max assumed was to call Tommy but everyone was interrupted by a scream coming from the room next door.

Hi everyone! As always thank you so much for all the love and support. This chapter came out so late because i was busy packing and moving into my college dorm. I also rewrote this chapter five times. I will try to have the next chapter updated by Saturday. I hope you enjoyed this chapter
