Ray's P.O.V
The ride to the manor was silent. Ray was staring out the window staring at the city, trying to find anything at all she recognized. She was snapped out of her thoughts by the boys shutting their doors. Yuno walked around the car and opened her door helping her out of the car. Yuno tried to put Ray into a wheel chair but she refused. " I don't want the chair please, I want to walk." Ray told Yuno but he wasn't having it. Yuno picked Ray up and put her in the chair. "You are going to use this wheelchair until the doctors clear you and you pass physical therapy. I don't want to hear any arguments." Yuno said. Ray knew by the tone in Yuno's voice that no matter what she said he wasn't budging on the matter. Ray decided not to say anything and just get pushed into the manor. Ray took in all the details of the manor. She was amazed her brother lived in a place as fancy as this. She wondered if she lived in a place like this or even half as nice as this. "Your house is really nice, do all your friends live here?" Ray asked. "All the boys in CB live here." Yuno responded. Ray was starting to feel nervous, she didn't know if she could handle a lot of people. "How many people is that, because this house is huge?" Ray asked as she couldn't help but stutter by the end of her sentence. Noticing her increasing nerves Buddha spoke up. "Only a few people actually live in the house and the people with keys who don't live here, we can tell not to come around until you get comfortable." This made Ray's nerves lessen a bit. " I think that should work. but I feel bad being in the way." " Don't even worry about that Ray your health is the only thing you should be thinking about." Yuno said
When they got to the room Ray was staying in she felt even worse. The first thing she noticed was all the fancy medical equipment and then she noticed everything that belongs in this room pushed in a corner. Ray started crying again she didn't know what she did to deserve such kindness from people she can't even remember. Yuno knelt down in front of her. " Hey, Ray look at me. What is wrong why are you crying." Ray could see how worried he was for her. " I feel like I don't deserve all this kindness. I can't even remember the people helping me, but they are clearly spending a lot of time and money on me. This medical stuff can't be cheap. I just feel so useless and guilty for needing so much help." Ray said. Yuno sat there in shock not knowing what to say to hi sister, but he didn't have to because just like yesterday Buddha stepped in to help. "Don't worry about any of that you might not remember us, but we remember you and everything you do for us. The only thing you should worry about is getting better. Let us worry about everything else." Ray sat there thinking for a moment before she spoke. "Thank you and I promise I will pay you and your friends back for all of this when I am able to." Ray said, full of conviction. She would get better and pay back all the people that helped her no matter how long it took. "Don't worry about it Ray. Now let's get you in bed you look exhausted." Yuno said. Ray didn't notice until Yuno said anything but she felt drained. She let Yuno and Buddha help her to bed. "When you wake up I will introduce you to the family and your doctor." Yuno said before leaving Ray to rest. Ray feel asleep and unlike yesterday she felt safe as she drifted into the darkness.
Tommy's P.O.V
Tommy was sitting at the outlook by the Vine wood sign when Adam found him. He hadn't slept at all last night and needed some alone time to clear his head. "You know if you want to be alone just tell us. But not answering your phone in over 12 hours after your girlfriend ends up in the hospital is only going to cause the gang to worry." Adam said as he walked towards the fence Tommy was leaning on. "I know but I just couldn't deal with anything but my own thoughts and I left my phone at my apartment." Tommy said. "You know I am here to listen if you want to talk. I still remember how messed up you were when you thought she left you and this is even worse." Adam said. Tommy could hear the worry in his voice. " I'm fine. I just needed some alone time to process everything that has happened." Tommy said curtly not really wanting to talk and hoping Adam would get the hint. Unfortunately Adam wasn't dropping the issue. "Don't lie to me man. I mean you held a race on her favorite race track every other night when you thought she left you. I am also your best friend. I know you are not ok. You don't have to talk to me but don't lie to me man." Adam said.
