Chapter Fifteen

Yuno's P.O.V

Yuno woke up to the sound of a loud beeping coming from Ray's room. He got up and went to go check on her when he heard hushed whispers from outside the door. Yuno stopped to listen in to see what was going on in the room. The moment Yuno heard Randy's voice he felt a bubbling rage. Why was Randy here and who had let him in the house to see Ray. Yuno got his answer when he heard Buddha's voice. The next emotion that swept through Yuno was betrayal. He knew Buddha knew that Randy wasn't allowed anywhere near his sister, but here he is letting Randy sneak in after everyone goes to sleep. Once Yuno finally figured out the pieces together about what they were talking about he felt the rage bubble back up. Only this time Yuno couldn't stop himself from storming into the room. 

Yuno shoved the door open so loud he was sure the rest of the house would be up and downstairs any moment. "Would you care to tell me about the secret conversation we are having at three in the morning or why Randy Bullet is in my sister's room?" Yuno asked sarcastically directing the last part towards Buddha. "I came here to make sure she was ok. I know I am not wanted so I will leave." Randy said as he starts to make his way to the door. Yuno stopped him. " No i want to know why you think she is not safe with me her own brother, rather than with you one of the people who caused this whole mess." Yuno said finally getting everything off his chest.

 Randy looked like he was about to respond, but Buddha beat him to it. " If youo want to be mad at anyone Yuno be mad at me. I am the one who let him inside the manor and Ray's room. But the only reason Randy even showed u against your wishes is because the guy who hurt Ray crashed Tommy's car and then shot him in the middle of a race with about half of the city in it. So you should be thanking Randy for being worried enough to come give us an update."Buddha said in a tone that told Yuno not to argue with him. "Well he said his piece so he can leave now." Yuno said as he pointed to the door. Randy went to walk once more but was stopped again by someone's voice. This person shocked the whole room.

"NO, if Randy is going to check on Tommy I want to go too." Ray said as she tried to get out of bed. This is why Yuno didn't want Randy around his sister. Whenever Randy was around his sister lost her common sense. She can't even stand on her own and here she is trying to get up and go to the hospital. "No, you are staying in that bed and we can go after your checkup with your doctor in the afternoon." Yuno said trying to put his sister back in bed. "No Yuno, I know you are trying to take care of me but if my boyfriend is in the hospital because my psycho kidnapper shot him. Then I am going to go check on him and you can either stay here and I will go by myself or you can come with me and make sure I am safe and protected." Ray said to him. Yuno sighed and rubbed his face. He already knew that by the look in her eye he wasn't going to win this argument. " Fine we will go but for only one hour at most and you will stay in the wheel chair the whole time. " Yuno said as he helped his sister up. "Ok that sounds perfect." Ray says as she turns to hug Yuno. 

Ray P.O.V

Ray sat in the car and couldn't believe she had actually convinced her brother to let her come to the hospital. Ray was still having trouble processing everything from the last seventy-two hours. When they pulled up to the hospital she watched as Yuno got out of the car and ran inside to get her a wheelchair. Ray was jolted out of her daze by a knock on the window. When she looked up to see who it was, she started to panic. Outside her door was a guy she didn't recognize who had a hat covering most of his face. Ray fumbled to try to grab er phone to call Yuno, but her panic attack made her unable to remember her phone password.  Ray's panic attack got so bad she was now struggling to breathe. Ray didn't even realize when she was pulled out of the car until she saw her brother's face in front of her.

Yuno put his hands on Ray's shoulders and crouched down to her level. " Ray look at me. You are fine. I'm here and so are our friends nothing will happen to you." Yuno said trying to comfort his sister. "Yuno he was there outside the window." ray said as she tried to calm down. "That wasn't him Ray. Look that guy right there is Mickey. He lives in the manor with us. I asked him to come check on you while I grabbed your wheelchair. I am so sorry." Yuno explained as he tried to calm down Ray. Ray finally started to catch her breath and calm down. " I thought he was here to take me back. I don't want to go back Yuno." Ray said through her sobs. "Ray I promise he will never lay a hand on you again. We can go home right now if you need to." Yuno said. Ray took a moment to collect herself before speaking again. " No this is my fault, I need to go see Tommy and make sure he is ok." Ray said. Yuno nodded and wheeled her into the hospital towards Tommy's room. 

When they finally got to Tommy's room Yuno knocked, and they entered when they heard an inaudible voice from the other side. When they entered the room Ray saw how full it was and started to feel uncomfortable again. She didn't remember anyone in this room, but by the look of pity she was receiving from almost everyone they definitely knew her. She was pushed over towards the bed and when she saw the shape Tommy was in she let out a loud gasp. " I thought he was shot why is he so injured?" Tommy was almost completely covered in bandages it wasn't adding up to Ray. Ray hadn't noticed that most of the room had cleared out to give her space, it was now just Ray , Yuno, two unknown guys and a girl. One of the guys walked to the other side of Tommy. "The guy who did this ran Tommy's car off the side of a mountain and then shot him." The guy said. Ray felt the tears fall down her face. This was all because of her and the guilt was overbearing. " I'm so sorry this is all my fault. If I had never escaped he would never have come after Tommy and everyone would be safe." Ray said in between sobs.  

The guy who spoke went and kneeled in front of Ray. "Hey this isn't your fault Ray. Tommy loved you and he wasn't the same person when you disappeared. You coming back is the only thing that Tommy wanted so don't blame yourself." The guy said as he comforted Ray. She sat there for another minute crying before she collected herself. "Thank you for making me feel better. I feel bad that I don't know your name." Ray said trying to lighten the room a little bit. Everyone in the room laughed at her comment. "Well I'm Adam, that guy over there is Dean, and the girl with pink hair is Lana." Adam said.  Well thank you for letting me see Tommy, but I think it is time I head back home I promised Yuno we would only be out for one hour. " Ray said "Ok, well come back any time Ray. Tommy will enjoy your visits." Adam said. Yuno walked back up to his sister " You're ready." Yuno asked. " Yeah we can go back home." Ray said 

Yuno pushed Ray out of the room as they said bye again. They were heading past the gift shop when something caught her eye. "Wait Yuno, can you get that for me." Ray said pointing at a puppy with a bucket hat. " Yeah, Ray I will get you anything you want." Yuno said. Ray watched as Yuno went and bought the puppy with a green bucket hat. Yuno came back and handed Ray the puppy. "Thank you Yuno. I love it." Ray said. Yuno pushed Ray out to the car and on the way home she fell asleep with a smile on her face.

Just a quick update I have a lot of school work and I don't want to get behind so I am going to put this book on a short three week hiatus so that I can catch up on school work and create a system that doesn't put me behind on classes.
