Okay, sorry for the last chapter, but you needed to get some insight on the saliens perspective, which is somewhat mailitaristic- they are at war! Well in this chapter you will get a lot information! And new characters, of which you do not have to remember most. But still they are important for the next 2 or 3 Chapters. I hope you like it and that I did not make too  many mistakes.

AND: I am NOT racist! The characters are from around th e globe and I really lived in the orient some time and met people like the character I refer to.

Thank you all for reading! Enjoy, have fun!!

PS: Thanks to KadgeY, Phantasy, Noodlesnog82, Strom0Wolf and Oo-BrainlessZombiesz, who assisted in creating some characters. Thank you!

Chapter 4b: Debate

“What ya gonna take for breakfast?” Alyssa asked in her light mood.

“Ham and eggs, bread with butter, some pears and orange juice. What about you, angel?”

“Some strawberries, chocolate ice cream or a little cake, then a peach and a watermelon. Followed by coffee or green tea… not sure now. And for lunch I’ll take steak with potatoes, veggie and salad!”

“Ha, I am the winner again! Hehe!”

“Why? First tell us?”

“I gonna take spareribs, potatoes, veggie, spicy BBQ sauce, Eristoff Ice mixed with apple juice. Followed by Mousse au chocolat with cherries and pancakes!” Alyssa declared proudly, convinced she was the winner of the day.

“Wow, you will get stomach-ache! Such a load! But I admit it fits together. I guess you win.”

“Yippie!”

“Hold on! Eristoff Ice mixed with apple juice?”

“Tasty. How should you know, you do not drink alcohol that often. Right?”

“Yes and I know why.”

“Spare us… and what about the combination of strawberries, watermelon and green tea? Are you vegetarian now or what?”

“No! I love meat, you know it! But I miss fresh fruits, salads and all those. And Tea is a wonderful thing. Tasty!”

“Girls!”

“Yeah allright, Alyssa, I guess your choice is the best combination. You are the winner of the day.”

“Yeah, I said so! I am the winner! You are the..”

“Busy Lissy, better don’t continue that sentence!” Janus interrupted. All of them knew they would have to eat what their kidnappers served but this play has become a fix point before their meals: imagine the best combination you would like to eat. All food and drinks allowed. It was a way to cope with the food they missed, the memories connected to food and the new nutrition. The morning diet for the slaves was strict and consisted of some soup-like-liquid with some mash in it, something like bread with veggie spread and power drinks. Lunch and dinner were different, but did not taste much better. The opportunities for change were rare due to the fact that a cook on a spaceship had to use the supplies on board and could not go to the market every day.

They entered the dining hall and saw… nobody. It was all empty. A creepy feeling crept along their spines. All sharing the same fear…another massacre?

“We are the first!” meant Janus in a poor try to ease the tension.

“More like the last I’d say. Alyssa where you go?”
