Klarion found himself glued to the news footage.

Usually, he didn't care to watch television, because it often lied and he got the facts straight from the other members of the Light. They wouldn't dare lie to him.

Or so he thought.

The proof was right in front of him and Klarion clenched his fists angrily, watching as Madison stood inside of a red shield around the Hall of Justice.

They had planned for that alien to come and distract the League. It was also a perfect opportunity for them to make the League look weak and the Reach look both strong and helpful. Not to mention, it would raise the question of where the most powerful League members were.

Oh. And they'd reveal the Watchtower.

But this was not what Klarion had expected. He had no qualms with the plan originally, but staring at the screen now, all he wanted to do was teleport to Europe and annihilate Vandal Savage.

Because Klarion could very clearly see the moment when Madison lifted up her arms, her wrists and hands dangling limping. She didn't seem to be in any pain as she forced her palms against the shield.

Vandal Savage had told Klarion that Madison was detained for a short time aboard the Reach ship, but managed to escape almost immediately.

Originally, Klarion found it bothersome that no one had informed the Reach how Madison used her powers. But now he knew that absolutely no one made a mistake.

Madison had been captured, but someone lied to him about what happened.

And Klarion intended to know exactly what had occured before he even let the Light know his ignorance was gone.

Klarion stepped away from the television and ran his hand down Teekl's back in thought. Madison had destroyed her cabin long ago, Mount Justice was gone, and so was the Hall of Justice.

Klarion didn't even bother with guessing on where she was, instead picking up Madison's notebook of the future and casting a spell. Almost instantly, a portal grew in it's place, finding it's owner.

He stepped out, his nose wrinkling at the smell of saltwater. It reminded him of the Atlantean.

Klarion's feet landed lightly on a dock and he looked forward, spotting the only figure in sight. Klarion made sure to scan the area before examining the hero.

She was sitting at the end of the dock, her feet almost touching the water. He walked forward quietly, not at all expecting Madison to notice his presence.

But she did.

"Connor." Madison stated, not looking back. "I told you to give me a few hours."

Klarion stopped directly behind her. "I am not the half-krytonian."

Madison whirled around, nearly falling off of the dock into the water. Her eyes went wide.

"Klarion!" She exclaimed, blue magic flowing from her hands slowly.

"The one and only." Klarion smirked.

Madison regained her composure and glared. "What do you want?"

"The truth." He replied, taking a step back. "I want to know what happened when you were aboard the Reach ship."

Madison stared at him for a moment before she started laughing, surprising the chaos lord.

"So you don't know all about Vandal Savage already?" Madison asked with a smirk. "You don't know about how he's afriad of you?"
