2 Different Hurt Souls

Chapter 6: Saving Kaneki

"What do you mean he's missing?!" I yelled out.

"Y/n calm down!" Touka shouted back.

"I- I need to go after him." I'm panicking.

"Y/n, we will all save him but right now is too risky." Yoshimura calmly said.

"I, I'll go after him myself. I can't let anything happen to him!" I said and left running out Anteiku.

I can smell his scent. Kaneki, I'm coming for you.

His scent leads me to a building surrounded by CCGS. This- this is was father was talking about. A war between ghouls and the doves. Kaneki is is there but he's not alone.

I was leaking around but that's when war began.
Everyone was distracted while fighting, this was my opportunity to go in. I put on my mask, ready.

Going from hall to hall, trying to get closer to Kaneki, when there's a loud sound, I look up and bits of the ceiling was coming down. I pull my kagune out to protect myself. I follow the hole that was left and finally, there he was, but he changed. White hair, his nails are black and his clothing is ripped.

The smoke clears out and he's fighting someone.

Jason.

Kaneki was dodging Jason, this was going back and forth until I saw Kaneki dodge a punch but Jason switched it mid way, landing the hit on Kaneki, sending him to the wall.

I couldn't keep watching, Kaneki was about to get killed. I few in between Jason and Kaneki, protecting Kaneki but Jason went through me.

"Kaneki."

"Y/n!"

My kagune grabbed Jason and threw him across to the opposite wall from us.

I grabbed Kaneki's hand and used my other kagune tentacle helps my run away with Kaneki at my side.

We make it outside where there's no doves in sight.

"We have to go Kaneki! It's not safe here with Jason and the doves!" I frantically said.

"Y/n?! What are you doing- here..."

It was dad.

"Y/n get back it's a ghoul!"

Kaneki was ready to attack but I shielded my dad.

"Y/n I have to go." Kaneki said not daring to face me.

"No! You can't leave me again. Kaneki I love you." I felt tears coming down my face.

"I'll be back for you Y/n." And with that, he was gone.

"Y/n- you're a ghoul... What have they done to you?"

"Dad! I was born this way. I'm a half breed!" I showed him both my eyes and he couldn't believe it.

"Y-you married a ghoul. Mom was a ghoul! She loved you and couldn't say anything no matter how much she wanted to. And the same goes for me. I was afraid of you killing me!" I cried towards him.

"I-"

There were doves in the distant coming our way. I had to leave.

And with that, I disappeared and dad was shocked with all this news.
