*Flashback - 2 years before the incident*

Waverly headed to she and William's usual meeting spot at the border of Seabrook.

She had a sack slung over her shoulder filled with water bottles and protein bars.

That's all you can get from the daily stash without anyone seeing.

The werewolf hurried over to a fallen gate and dropped the bag.

She began searching for William.

He still had to hide since the pack didn't get the chance to banish him after his father.

"Will." Waverly whispered exceptionally loud.

She scanned the trees.

There was no sign of him.

Just as she turned to leave, thinking he had been caught, a dark figure shot past her.

Waverly stumbled back, surprised by the sudden movement.

William appeared beside her a second later.

She sighed. "I brought you food."

He nodded and glanced over at the sack. "Thank you, Waverly."

A small smile stretched across her face.

He kneeled down to open it and that's when she noticed his hair.

It was much shorter.

Did he cut it?

"Will." The pup said, her eyebrows furrowed.

He spun around, flicking the cap off of a water bottle. "Yeah?"

She gestured towards his mess of brown hair. "What happened?"

He paused for a second.

"Oh, you mean my hair?"

She nodded.

"I found this guy in town, he said he'd do it for free." He explained, shrugging.

Waverly rubbed the back of her neck."Was that the best idea?"

The shapeshifter frowned. "What do you mean?"

He stood up, towering over her.

William was almost five inches taller than the werewolf.

"You could've been caught." She muttered, taking a step forward.

He laughed slightly. "But I wasn't."

Waverly didn't like how care free he was being..

"Alright." She said, crossing her arms.

William tore open a protein bar and shoveled it into his mouth.

"It was just one haircut." He went on.

"Did you get his name?" Waverly questioned, her eyebrows furrowed.

The shapeshifter thought for a second, chewing violently.

"Uh.." He began, staring up at the sky. "I think it started with an M? Something like that."

Waverly nodded, un-folding her arms.

She didn't know anyone who's name started with an 'M'.

Every werewolf had a W name, so whoever it was, must've been human.
