"your stupid food tastes terrible!" one customer spat.
usually, Julieta didn't deal with customers like this. that was mainly because the members of the Madrigal family didn't get treated poorly since they created this city and made everything inside of it. also because they have powers.
but sometimes there were just people like this sadly that Julieta had to deal with. sighing Julieta tried to make herself calm down and she took a deep breath, prepared to take care of this customer.
"what's the problem?" Julieta asked.
"The problem is that your food is terrible and that your magic doesn't work." the customer replied.
"what's your name?" Julieta asked. "and what do you mean by magic doesn't work?"
"my name doesn't matter." The customer huffed. "I ordered an arepa from you and it didn't heal my wound. it still hurts!"
"show me your wound," Julieta ordered. she could just give this customer another arepa for free and then this would all be over.
pulling up their sleeve the customer showed Julieta their wrist. but nothing was on there.
"I don't see any wound," Julieta commented.
"well, there is one there and it still hurts!" the customer then added. "how dare you all me a liar."
"I didn't call you a liar," Julieta said quickly. "I just don't see anything. can you tell me how it hurts?"
"it's a burning feeling. just give me a free arepa already! then I can go home." the customer ordered.
rolling her eyes Julieta tried to keep calm. she knew that this customer most likely wasn't really hurt and just wanted some free food. but Julieta just wanted them to leave her alone so she grabbed one of her arepas and gave it to the customer.
"here you go. I'm sorry that it didn't work at first." Julieta said through gritted teeth. she watched as the customer then ate the arepa before scowling.
"it still isn't working! You're a fraud." the customer said, as outraged as ever.
"I am not a fraud!" Julieta snapped. "my food heals actual wounds. not wounds that aren't actually there."
"How dare you speak to me like that!" the customer then took a step closer to Julieta, their eyes locked together.
"I'll speak to you however I like. now get away from my store." Julieta ordered, having enough of this person's shit.
"make me." The customer replied. "I'll do what I want."
the customer then roughly shoved Julieta onto the ground. Julieta wasn't exactly weak but it seemed that this customer was just much stronger than her. once she fell Julieta let out a soft cry. she fell onto the concrete floor after all. the feeling wasn't exactly pleasant.
"get out right now!" Julieta yelled as loudly as she could. if this customer wasn't going to leave on their own then maybe she would be able to attract Dolores or somebody else if she was loud enough.
"I'm not done yet." the customer grinned
the customer then went to the table with all the arepas and other food and flipped the table over, making all the food land on the floor. they then stomped the food into the ground.
"no!" Julieta cried. it took her ages to cook all of that. now all of it was ruined! instantly Julieta got up and ran after the customer as they tried to leave her store. but before she could catch the customer Pepa came running in, a storm cloud above her head.
Julieta was glad that her power was only being able to heal others with her food. but her girlfriend and sister, Pepa's power is that whatever she was feeling transformed the weather around her. so right now a storm cloud would mean that she's angry.
Julieta and have a strange relationship, to say the least. both of them are sisters of course and they grew up alongside each other, as close as they possibly could be. but then they realized they were in love and secretly became girlfriends. but they only realized they were in love a few days ago.
now Julieta is married to Agustín and Pepa is married to Félix. but they both know that Julieta and Pepa don't really love them and that they are actually dating. they told them yesterday. but besides that nobody else knows. they only told them because they trust them and neither of them really love their wives.
shaking away her thoughts Julieta watched as Pepa grabbed the customer by the neck and slammed them against the wall as she noticed the mess the customer made. thunder began to storm around Pepa as she stared at the customer. she soon began to yell at them.
"How dare you do this to Julieta! she's the nicest person in this town. she even gave you free food!" Pepa pointed out.
"i-i'm sorry." The customer muttered. "let me go."
still, angry Pepa then let go of the customer and pushed them out of Julieta's store. Pepa then turned to Julieta and wrapped her arms around her.
"are you okay? are you hurt?" Pepa asked.
"I'm fine. just a little sore. the customer pushed me onto the ground and then destroyed my stuff. after I eat something and then clean up I'll be fine." Julieta replied.
"I'm going to kill that customer," Pepa grumbled.
"there's no need." once Pepa let go of her Julieta then grabbed the last arepa that wasn't destroyed and ate it. she then was healed. although the main problem was going to be cleaning up this mess.
"This is going to take forever to clean." Julieta pointed out.
"here I'll help." Pepa offered.
"alright. but first, calm down. we don't need this place even wetter." Julieta ordered. the whole time Pepa's storm cloud has been raining all over the store.
"fine," Pepa said, forcing herself to calm down.
once Pepa was calm the two girlfriends began to clean up the store. although she wished she didn't have to do this Julieta was glad that her sister was the one helping her clean up. once they were done cleaning up Julieta sighed.
"here, how about we go to my room?" Pepa offered.
nodding Julieta padded alongside Pepa as they soon headed into Pepa's room. once they were in there they curled up on Pepa's bed. wrapping her arms around her girlfriend Pepa then began to stroke her hair.
"I love you so much. I know we have only been dating for a few days. but I have always loved you." Pepa revealed.
"I love you too." Julieta replied. "and I have always loved you as well."
the two talked for a while and Julieta couldn't help but blush. she was glad to finally be with Pepa. suddenly Pepa leaned down and looked Julieta in the face.
"c-can I kiss you?" Pepa suddenly asked.
Julieta froze, her face going bright red. "U-Uhm, I suppose so..."
once her sister said that Pepa leaned in forward and kissed her sister on the lips, swirling her tongue with Julieta's. the two kissed for a while until Julieta suddenly pulled away.
"t-that was great," Julieta muttered.
Pepa smiled. "I know."
"would you like to help to help me cook?" Julieta asked. "I need to stock up on more food for my store."
"Of course." Pepa replied.
the two then padded down into the kitchen. Julieta was so happy she couldn't think. she didn't care about the rude customer from earlier. she was just glad that she had her first kiss with her beloved Pepa.
