sighing Pepa looked down at the ground. recently she has fallen in love with her niece named Mirabel. Pepa knows that loving one of your own family members more than you usually should is taboo but Pepa just couldn't force her feelings away.
Pepa just doesn't love Mirabel because they're related after all. that's just a small part of it. she loves Mirabel for who she truly is.
after all, Mirabel doesn't have a power yet she works twice as hard as her family to prove herself. not stopping at all.
it was Mirabel that saved the Casita from fully getting destroyed. well, the house did get destroyed anyway. but without Mirabel, Pepa is sure that the house would have remained in ruins. besides, Mirabel did bring Pepa's brother, Bruno back which she is grateful for as well.
but recently Pepa was making sure she spent a lot more time around Mirabel. around Mirabel, she felt safe and happy and the sun was shining. she could control her feelings a little better around her.
but recently being around Mirabel was starting to worry Pepa. what if Mirabel didn't like her back?
Pepa would be crushed if Mirabel didn't love her as well. but at the same time, Pepa knew that it would be unlikely for Mirabel to want to be with her.
after all, Pepa is way older than Mirabel and Pepa is Mirabel's aunt. besides if somehow Mirabel did love Pepa back they would have to keep their love a secret because of their age gap and the fact they are related.
Pepa also has a husband named Félix. now Félix is a good guy but Pepa just can't love him because of her love for Mirabel and the fact that she's a lesbian.
but Pepa couldn't hold her feelings in any longer. it was starting to hurt her. Pepa was going to have to tell Mirabel about her feelings.
but as Pepa thought about doing that a small storm cloud appeared above her head. although she quickly shook it away. she knew that Mirabel could decline her love. she could tell other people and then there was a chance that Pepa could get In trouble.
yet at the same time, there was a chance that Mirabel could love Pepa back. if that was the case then Pepa would be beyond happy... although there was a lot at risk Pepa had to reveal her feelings to Mirabel.

in the time since the Casita was destroyed and then repaired Mirabel began to spend more and more time with her family. that includes her aunt, Pepa. but now Mirabel loves Pepa. she doesn't love her as you would normally love your family members. she wants Pepa to be her girlfriend.
now Mirabel knows that it's wrong to love your family members but she doesn't care. her love for Pepa is better than that. but Mirabel doesn't know if she should confess her feelings.
after all, Pepa is her aunt and is much older than Mirabel. they could get in serious trouble if they decided to date. but at the same time, Mirabel was willing to risk that.
but Mirabel also doubts that Pepa would be interested in her that way. after all, Pepa does have a husband. besides, most people were disgusted by incest so it was very likely that Pepa was one of those people.
but at the same time Mirabel felt hopeful that Pepa loved her back. maybe she could ask Bruno to see the future... although Bruno is open about his interest in incest and things Mirabel also doesn't want to bother him with something as little as this.
so Mirabel is just going to have to take a chance and ask Pepa herself. not truly knowing how things will plan out.
gulping Mirabel decided to dress herself to look nicer. she took her clothes off before putting new ones on and positioning her glasses. once she realized she looked decent she then headed out of the Casita and went to find Pepa. but soon Mirabel ran face-first into Pepa.
"I'm sorry!" Pepa said, a small storm cloud appeared above her head as she spoke.
"It's fine. don't worry." Mirabel smiled. although she did end up dropping her glasses.
she was about to lean down and grab them when Pepa did the same, making the two family members rub their hands together. both of them blushed and Pepa soon pulled away, allowing Mirabel to pick up her glasses.
Pepa then grabbed Mirabel's hand and helped her up once more. Mirabel smiled at that and looked Pepa up and down. god, she looked so pretty...
"s-so Uhm," Mirabel muttered, stunned by her aunt's beauty for a second before she shook her head, clearing her thoughts. "I was looking for you. It's just chance that we managed to run into each other, right?" she said, chuckling awkwardly.
Pepa nodded, seemingly amused by the way Mirabel was acting. "yeah. why were you looking for me?"
"Uhm, I want to tell you something. can we talk somewhere alone? maybe in your room?" Mirabel asked.
she wanted to be away from her other family members and it seemed that everybody was out doing something besides Mirabel and Pepa. although there was a chance that Dolores could hear Mirabel hoped that she wouldn't tell or nobody would believe her if she told.
"of course. let's go." Pepa ordered.
nodding Mirabel padded alongside Pepa as they headed towards Pepa's room. they then walked inside it and sat down on the bed.
"So, what's on your mind?" Pepa asked.
"w-well, I know this may sound weird and bad... but I love you! I love you more than just as a member of my family. I want to be your girlfriend Pepa. I know that we're related and that you are way older than me. but I just can't help but feel this way." Mirabel admitted.
as Mirabel spoke Pepa's eyes widened and a large storm cloud appeared above her head. Mirabel didn't wait for Pepa's reply when she saw that. Mirabel knew what that meant... Pepa must not love her.
tears forming in her eyes Mirabel then got up and began to sob, running out of Pepa's room.
"wait!" Pepa ordered. but Mirabel didn't listen.
Mirabel just kept running until she arrived in the nursey, her room. and then she collapsed on the bed, sobbing. she had to remove her glasses and throw them onto the floor as she couldn't see.
but Pepa soon opened the door. "Mirabel! calm down. I love you too."
instantly Mirabel stopped crying, sniffling slightly. "Y-you do?" She questioned.
"of course I do." Pepa then headed over to Mirabel and wiped her tears off with her hand. she then put her glasses back on Mirabel and sat down next to her.
"but a storm cloud appeared when I said that." Mirabel pointed out.
"that's because I was thinking about what could happen if our family found out about our love..." Pepa then added. "I would love it if you became my girlfriend."
her mood completely changing Mirabel smiled and tightly wrapped her arms around Pepa. the two girls chuckled and smiled.
"I love you... hiding our love will be hard but in the end, it is going to be worth it." Mirabel pointed out.
"I know. and I love you too." Pepa replied.
"wow, things are happening so fast." Mirabel muttered. "just a minute again we were family members but now we are dating."
"I wouldn't change that for the world though." Pepa grinned.
"nor would I."
the two girlfriends then stayed like this for a while, their arms tightly around each other. Mirabel couldn't believe that she was finally with Pepa.
