"That's the North Sea," Theo pointed to the ocean beyond them. The blue waves crashed into the rocks, spraying salt water, and bringing in the cold winds to the harbor of East Port. The young boy held onto Theodore's head so the winds may not blow him off, but it most unlikely as the man held his son's ankles with a soft yet tight grip to keep him still.

Their lessons were unorthodox and does not pass the standard ways of education in both the magical world and Muggle world, but Theo enjoyed his lessons walking around the Keep and seeing those lessons in action, even his lessons on his letters were held outside where he could have fresh air than in the stuffy library. From reading and writing, to adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division, to basic science, magic, and magical history, geography and rules of the court. Theodore made sure Theo learned, and that was what was important. While other parents saw it too much for the child to have such advanced lessons - even Carina wondered if it was - Theo was confident and learned every bit of it, and Theodore never forced his son to learn them. He made sure they were having fun along the way.

There was no specific time for their lessons, if Theo was asked, though the most formal ones were held in a certain time, whenever they would come across something that was related to their earlier lessons Theodore would question him or add more information about it. Such as the one they were having now, earlier they talked about the geography of Europe, and now that they were at East Port, accompanying Carina in her visit to the place, Theodore decided to bring their son to the rocky cliffs so he may see the North Sea, and maybe he could add some history into it as well.

"Correct, my lord, that is the North Sea. The North Sea is just a part of the Atlantic Ocean. Now the Atlantic Ocean is one of the most dangerous oceans to cross because of its strong winds and the current."

"Mr. Graves."

"Yes, my lord?"

Theo leaned down so he could face Theodore, but only came to the side of the man's face. "Did you cross the North Sea when you got here?"

"Aye, I did. Boarded one of those ships, paid my fair - double in fact," he grumbled the last part. "But then after I saved the captain's arse -" Theo giggled at his crude word. "-he returned the other half to me, and we got here unharmed. Now, across the North Sea is what country?"

Theo thought hard, bottom lip pouting and his brows furrowed as he thought. Theodore waited, he never gave the answer until his son asks for help, he wanted Theo to learn to ask for help when he needed, but he made sure to make him think first. Try to remember. "It's... the Scandinavian countries, yes?"

"That's right."

"It's Denmark."

"And?"

"You said only one."

Theodore snorted. "Come on now, you gave me one, so give me the other."

"Fine... Norway."

"Very good, my lord. And what do you know about them?"

"That they're Vikings."

"Well, they're called Norsemen or Northmen. Viking is just the act they do, but then people started calling them Vikings..."

"Why?"

"Ask Bjorn, he's better in telling that story."

"Bjorn's a Northman and so is Ivar."

"That's right."

"They say Da was an honorary member of their family. That he has a tattoo of their family symbol on his chest."

It took an effort for him not to touch where the tattoo was. But if Theo knew about the tattoo, Theodore reminded himself to not show too much of it, to wear vests and not just a shirt whenever working so when he gets wet the tattoo won't be seen through the cloth.
