Chapter 3. Hogsmeade

September seemed to fly by. With all the endless classes and homework. It is now October 28th. Hogwarts is throwing a Halloween party the night of October 31st, aka Halloween. That means I have 2 days too prepare, not counting today or the party day itself. Anyways, Im thinking i want to actually 'dress up' and look good. Why? To impress someone,  im lookin to get drunk off my ass while no ones looking and then see what the night turns into. Im lookin to make this year at Hogwarts fun. Im 15 now and i wanna make my last few years fun.

Everyone is on the way to Hogsmeade Including me, I was on this train sat next to Draco, and Daphne and of course Theo. Im so glad that Draco's little goons didn't follow along. The fat annoying twats they are, I'm surprised Daph will put up with them, let alone myself.

"What are you guys looking to buy?" I questioned all three of them.

"Well a costume for the Halloween Party of course!"
"You are attending the party? Right Oakley?" Daphne chirped with excitement. She seems to always be in a good mood, unless someone pisses her off of course. Then me or Theo has to calm her down again. Its a cycle of emotions with her.

"I had planned on it, yeah" Although there better be alcohol at this party or its utterly pointless.
"Although the only reason im attending is alcohol and to impress stuck-up boys" Daphne let out a chuckle followed by Theo.

"Potter if you get drunk off your arse don't expect me to carry you back." Malfoy said. It sounded like he was saying it with a-lot of pride, like he didn't care one bit. I mean it makes sense honestly he is a doosh bag.

I scoffed. "I didn't expect you to be my babysitter Malfoy."

"Don't worry I'll take care of you Oakley." Daphne giggled at herself.

Finally the train had arrived to Hogsmeade and me and Daph made our way over to Gladrags Wizardwear, while the two boys accompanied each other to Hogs Head. I honestly doubt they have many good clothes here if any, I've only been to Hogsmeade a handful of times and this store hasn't been one I've visited.

We made it to the clothes store, and Daph started trying on many dresses and me along with her.
After awhile of searching I found this beautiful satin/silk, green dress, it had off the shoulder sleeves that sat at the perfect place. And my whole body was snug from the waist up and it had a beautiful laced trim on the end of the skirt. It was breathtaking. And oh my Merlin it looked gorgeous on me.

I jus had to have it. So I searched for a matching face cover. Because well it is a Halloween party. I found an emerald green one, with glitter around the edges. Needless to say i was going to look amazing this Halloween.

"Thats a really pretty dress." She said with a smile.

"Aww thank you." I slurred.

After awhile Daph found her dress, it was a light blue ombre into a light green. I thought it looked good on her but she seemed to like it alot so whatever makes the princess happy. We walked to checkout and in total it was around 23 Galleons.

"I figured they'd be more expensive than they
were." I noted.

"Eh not really." She said.

We all met up in the middle of Hogsmeade and started our walk back to the train area. The boys managed to get themselves a suit for the party and I hadn't even noticed them walk in that store. But we all got what we needed and made our way back to Hogwarts. And now we just await until the 31st.

Although, I don't usually participate in Hogwarts parties. I mostly used to sit out in my dorm room. So this is quite the change for me. Not that its a bad change necessarily, just different.

AN- I promise this story gets better. The first 4 ish chapters aren't my best work, I tried to fix them a bit but you see how that worked 😅
