Oakley Potter

"Who are you, What do you want?" Cedric hollered.

"Kill the spare."

"Avada Kedavra"

"Cedric" I screech.

The green light zoomed past me in an instant.

He ran toward me shoving me up into the statue, dropped the creature into the cauldron and cut himself.

He walked over to me, with a knife in his hand. And with a slice of that knife, he ripped into my wrist and made a cut into my sleeve. Grunts escaped my mouth as I watched the blood pool out of my wrist.

Oakley Potter

"Wake up! Oakley Wake up!" I heard. Gentle arms shaking my shoulders. My eyes pierced with white as I pried them open.

I awake to the Common room floor. Surrounding by my worried friends. Blaise, Draco, Daphne and Theo. All huddled around me. My nerves racked around my body, I could feel the sweat drenched in my robes. The cold wooden floor felt amazing on my bare arms.

"Oakley, you passed out." Blaise said with a saddening look.

All the sights recurred in my mind.
Watching Cedric hit the ground, cold and frail.
Watching the blood pour from my wrists.
Watching the narrowed out sky, as my body went into a jolt of pain with the hit of the curse.

Draco reached up and slapped me just hard enough to knock me out of my trance. "Thanks." I huffed, sarcasm lacing my voice.

"I think she ought to go to Madam Pomfrey." Theo said looking at Daphne, but his voice was directed towards all of us.

"Yeah no" I blurted out.

"We were all standing here talking for like 20 minutes and just down you went, outta no where."  Draco said. His voice sounded calm and collected. But the tapping of his foot and fingers tells me otherwise.  "You mumbled some things and that was about it."

I searched around the room. Simply for clarification that I was alright and this wasn't a dream. "Fine, I'll make you guys a deal. If it happens two more times then I'll go to Madam Pomfrey. Because if I go when it's only happened a couple of times then I'll have nothing to explain to her." I slurred. Each word slower than the last.

"Alright, deal." Daphne exclaimed as she gave me a gentle side hug as if I would evaporate in thin air.

                                            —

Many boring days pass by. Not much has been going on really. Ive fainted once in the bathroom alone since the last incident. Although I just haven't mentioned it too anyone, and I don't plan on it either.

I have charms class next, Im actually in the halls walking my way there currently. This class I only have one friend in there. That being Draco. I don't know if I really consider him a friend, I get mixed feelings with him, sometimes he acts like he loves me then other times he acts like he hates me.

As I arrive to the class I sit next to Draco. Who had one of his goons on the other side of him. And with an eye-roll I set my bags and books down.

"How you been?" Vincent asked me with a loud annoying snicker. Assumedly Draco told him about my mishap in the common room.
