Heads up! This one will have a huge time skip but it will have a flashback!
Enjoy!
😊*Two years later*
Hinata's POV
"HINATA!"
"Huh?"
Kiba's yelling got me out of my daze.
"Hinata, you have to focus. This spar is important even if it does not include you." Iruka-sensei scolded me for not watching Shino and Kiba's spar. It's not that I didn't want to watch, it's just... this training ground holds a very important memory for me.
"I think that's enough for today." Iruka-sensei said as Kiba laid on the ground almost passed out. Shino must have drained his chakra with his bugs.
"One thing first, all of you have been at this academy for 2 years. This is the time you will take your final test. This will tell if you are eligible to be a Genin.
"Hai, Iruka-sensei." Everyone yelled as the papers to show our parents poofed in our hands. Then everyone went their own ways, except me. I stood in the same spot in my own thoughts.
I went over to a bench and sat a bag that had my snack in it on the ground with my paper beside it. I then walked to the middle of the grounds. I stood up and walked over to a special post. The very post I came out to train on that night, 2 years ago. That night...a special person was taken from me; someone I had only known for a few minutes. Crazy when you think about it.
"Hinata?"
Kiba walked up to me from behind with a worried look on his face. "Y-yes, Kiba?"
"Are you okay? You haven't been acting yourself for some time now." He said dusting himself off and putting Akamaru to the side. He folded the mid-term paper and put it in his pocket.
"I-I'm fine. Just l-lost in thought I-I guess." I said turning back to the post.
"You're still thinking about him, aren't you?" He said. I gasped quickly and let my head fall. I heard him sigh then I felt arms wrap around me from behind.
"You know, I'm always here for you. Right?" I blinked back tears that wanted to spill. I just nodded as I used my fist to bawl my eyes.
He let go and then I heard him start to walk away.
"Hinata?"
I turned to him. "You know, there might be a chance he is dead, right?" I gasped as fear could easily be shown in my eyes.
"They found blood close to the gates, it was his. Someone tried to kill him because of what he is. They have tried to find him for years, but they are giving up the search, you should too." Then he walked away, Akamaru close behind.
Once I was sure he was far away, I fell to my knees and cried. I cried and cried more than I had ever cried before. I didn't want to think he was dead. He stood up for me, he said I was strong, he believed in me. And he was hurt because of me. Now there is a chance that he's.... no. I can't even think about it. It's all my fault.
I then felt a small nudge against my legs. To the right was a dog, no, this dog was too big. A wolf? It had white fur, blue eyes. I had seen it before.
"SNOWY?!" I yelled, louder than I planned to. I wiped my eyes to get a better view and yes it was true. That was her. "I haven't seen you in forever...ever since that night."
She smiled and laid in my lap. Her paws dangled off my legs because of how big she was. I then remembered how close her, and that boy was. And how she disappeared the same night he did. I quickly grabbed her and held her in front of my face.
