Chapter 7: Forest of Trials (Part 2) - Mitsuki

'This is gonna be fun!'

Almost like it was instinct, I got on all fours and growled. I felt ears appear on my head and a tail swished behind me. 

I felt stronger and my body felt lighter. I could hear everything in the forest until I felt the presence of my target. It was behind me ready to strike. I smirked and sped behind it and urged my charka filled fist to slam it into the ground. 

I realized how small the animal was originally and decided it was over. Until I felt the animal get bigger under my fist. I ran a while away as I sense a bigger version of what I was just fighting. 

"What are you?" I asked curiously. Before I could prepare another attack, the animal appeared in front of me and hit me in the stomach which led me to cough up some blood that was soon healed by Kurama. 'Your faster'

Author's POV

As Naruto raced to the animal, his target did the same. Claw and claws, tails with tails, and occasional growls from time the time from both. It wasn't until Naruto and the animal hit each other so hard and were knocked away from each other, was when the real battle began. 

Naruto didn't know rarely any jutsus from just joining the academy which he doesn't remember but that didn't mean that it wasn't in his arsenal. He doesn't remember but his dad taught his a simple jutsu from each element after noticing Naruto could perform all charka natures unlike most. 

"Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu." Naruto yelled as his cheeks flared wide and he soon blew out an enormous ball of fire. Not even a second later Naruto performed another hand sign. "Wind Style: Wind Release." As he blew a huge gust of wind that enhance his fire ball and burned many trees as it raced to its target.

Naruto's opponent was preparing a big attack as well. A huge blue ball formed at its mouth as its paws were clawed to the ground. The blue ball of ice, snow and wind grew bigger and bigger and was soon shot towards to blonde's jutsu. 

The two jutsu's roared to each other into they collided into one ball of fire and ice. The impact from the jutsu sent both users flying away from each other.

The two charkas and the loud explosion of the jutsu's gathering the attention of many of the clan in the caves. As they came rushing out of their homes hoping to find the source of that enormous power. 

They wondered if an innocent someone wondered into the forest and ending up fighting with a beast of the forest but by the frightening amount of charka, this person could not be innocent. They gathered weapons and their animal companions and headed to the forest, but not in.

All was quiet and suspicious, except one family. The family that saved Naruto and healed him. They knew it was Naruto in there, they just did not believe that power was from him. They worried for the boy they had cared for and now started to doubt the thought of him even still being alive. Except Kai, who never really knew or cared for the boy.

Nervous chattering was heard between the clan members. Ones with black spiky hair and lazy eyes got serious and focus and huddled to make a plan, but still yawned every now and again. Ones with swirly marks on their cheeks seems to get bigger as parts of their body bloated to increase impact with that body part. Ones with red triangle marks down their cheeks were on all fours with their wolf companion by their side, in more sync with their wolf than any other pair of partners on the field. Ones with shades on and coats that covered the bottom part of their face seem to stance silently with their focus on the forest with insects flying around them. Ones with light violet eyes got ready as veins tend to show on their eyes and they got into a fighting stance with their palms out. Many with shiny blonde hair sat down in a group and started to meditate and tell children in the caves to keep calm through their minds. Others with once coal eyes turned red with what seems to be a shuriken in the middle. A few with scrolls in their hands ready to rip out weapons from them stood at the ready for an attack. A few with big fans on their backs and other with charka enhanced fingers for puppets and many, many others user preparing their unique talents.

All chattering was ceased when a small figure walked out. Weapons were ready and out to cut through the enemy. A small boy with shimmering blonde hair with 3 black lines on each cheek appeared with a wounded small white and blue wolf in his arms.

Mostly everyone put down their weapons and undid their kekkei genkai(s) to look at blonde boy as they had forgotten of the terrifying power and only focused on one sold thing as the blonde fell to the ground. 

'He beat Mitsuki!'
