Akihiro's POV

It's the next day and I had woke up happier than ever. Last night, Snowy brought me a note from the Leaf. It was from the girl that protected Snowy when we were younger, and she said she missed me. She said she was scared because she thought I was dead and she wants me to come back to the Leaf, to the academy there.

Since everyone was sleep when I came home, only me and Snowy know about it. I don't know how to tell them though.

I have other stuff to think about right now. If I'm gonna be able to learn and train how I want, I have to past this test today. I've been training under the real Akihiro, also known as Nisshoku for the past two years.

But the leaders said that after 2 years of training under him, I have to prove that his teachings are what I need. If I fail, then I will have to be taught by one of the sensei that the leaders order and fight again after another 2 years. I will have a strict schedule and training and never get any free time. I can't have that!

I wonder who I will be sparring against. I know it will be someone strong, Jounin level at least, maybe even Anbu. Whoever they are, they're no match for me.

But to become friends with kids my age, my dad sent me to the academy. But this academy is different from others, you go to it for one year then the next year you get assigned a team. It isn't permanent though; they mix and match the people to see who works well together. Since their clan is supposed to be hidden, they focus more on different clans working together for protection.

My team is me, Hokori and Akito, and Kokoro. We were just put together this year and honestly, I believe we work well together. Tatsu-sensei says we make the best 'Spy and Sense' team. Maybe we will stay together and get to go on missions.

I've always wondered why my family's name is Himtisu, but the others aren't. Hokori is an Uchiha, but Kokoro is a Himtisu. Mom told us that some clans don't blend with others. So, they can be 'pure-blooded'.

That's why Hokori is seen as an outcast although no one knows she's part Inuzuka. The Uchiha's are the only clan that don't allow mixed clans. The Hygua aren't too big on it either, but mom and Kai are part Hygua so there must not be a punishment for it.

If a 'pure blood' married a mixed breed then the mixed breed would take the pure blood's clan name, but if two mixed breeds married then they both along with their children, would have to take the sanctuary clan name, Himtisu.

The only problem with mixing breeds is the features. To go on missions, you have to look like a normal clan member, of only ONE clan. If you have features that showed otherwise like Dad and Sachi's Akimichi swirls, you would have to hide them with a mask. Or if your eyes were the problem like Kai's, then you would have to wear contacts.

"Aki! Come down for breakfast!"

"I'm coming!"

I looked at Snowy as she sat on my bed. We were both thinking the same thing. How in the world am I gonna be able to tell them I'm going back home?

I walked into the kitchen and saw everyone sitting down at the table. Except for Kai.

Mom seemed to notice my look. "Kai is in his room getting something for you. He'll be here in a second."

I nodded and watched as she turned back to her doing in the kitchen. I saw her face stare out the window again. I could tell she was in thought. Maybe about last night.
