Author's POV
Akihiro woke up with a pain in his head. He groaned a bit and waited until the pain subsided. He proceeded to get out of bed and leave from his room.
He walked into the kitchen and saw all eyes on him. Before he could even asked what was the problem, he was hit in the stomach by a force that would have knocked him to the floor if he wasn't stronger. That force was his little sister.
"Sachi, you can't just tackle him like that! He just got out of bed." Their mom scolded. Akihiro laughed a bit. "It's fine."
But he felt the little force on his stomach shake a little. It didn't take him long to realize his sister was crying.
He pulled her back and got to his knees to look at the girl with her hands covering her face.
"What's wrong, Sachi?" He whispered.
The girl sniffed and huffed as he tried to calm herself down. "K-kurama told me the p-pour the water, b-but I didn't listen."
"Poor kit. She thinks you going out of control was her fault."
Akihiro picked his sister up as he got to his feet. He leaned her on his shoulder and patted her back like she was a baby.
"There, there, Its not your fault. I should have controlled my power better."
He sat down at the table and placed Sachi on his leg.
"What happened?" Nari asked as she plucked her fork in her food. "You've never gotten that mad before."
Akihiro took a breathe as he placed his hand on the table. "I saw... my last day in the Leaf."
This must have caught everyone's attention. Sachi stopped crying, Nari's food fell from her fork, their mom turned her head from the counter, their dad put his newspaper on the table and stopped drinking his tea, Kai stopped feeding the wolves, even the wolves themselves seemed to be interested in this topic.
For a second Akihiro wondered where Snowy was. He hadn't seen her for a few days. His parents told him that wolves had to go on their own for a while. But they always come back.
"What happened?"
"How did you get all those bruises?"
"How did you lose your memories?"
"Where were you parents?"
Those questions and many others were asked, well yelled, at Akihiro. But there was one that stood out from the rest.
"Who are you?"
This question came from Sachi. He looked at his little sister. He could tell that she really wanted to know the answer to that question.
"You mean, who was I?" He said with a sad smile. "I'm not longer who I used to be. That life is gone. And for good reason too."
Everyone looked at him with sad eyes as the family sat in silence. It wasn't until their mom clapped that everyone came back to reality.
"Family Meeting. Everyone in the living room."
Everyone sat down in their places. Their dad in the arm chair to the left of the room. Their mom in the middle of the long couch. Nari to her right and Kai to her left. Sachi sat on the floor, on the carpet in the middle of the wolves.
Naruto sat in the rocking chair by the fireplace, to the right of the room. He faced everyone.
He looked at everyone as everyone looked at him with eyes that told him to go on.
