Naruto POV

I woke up in the same room again and I was bandaged head to toe. I'm starting to get comfortable in this room. I looked out the window to see the sky getting darker.

I heard voices in the room away, so I decided to get up and go check it out. I felt a huge pain in my stomach. I remembered my way into the kitchen, closer to where I heard the voices. But stop at another room, the living room.

When I got there, I saw the mom and dad of the family and another man with light blonde hair wearing purple. They hadn't seen me yet, so I decided to listen in.

"What are we going to do with him?" The light hair man asked.

"You are not going to do anything to him. We will take care of him." The mom said.

"You felt that charka, he is dangerous!"

"He is not dangerous. The whole time we took care of him after finding him on our doorstep, he did no harm to us."

'On their doorstep? I thought they said they found me. I guess that's what they meant. How did I get there though?'

"And that's another thing! Taking care of a stranger and letting them into our clan. You are basically committing treason!"

"Ain't nobody committing treason!"

"Look, Kea. You know I have nothing against you and your family. It's just... our clan has been able to survive all these years and avoid war by keeping others out and being secretive. I don't want us to risk our clan's safety by giving our trust to a stranger, let alone one with such power."

The mom, who I now know is Kea, sighed and nodded. "I understand your concern, but he isn't a stranger."

This caught both men's attention and mine also.

"He is the child of the prophecy. You remember the prophecy, don't you?" She asked looking up at the man.

His eyes widen and then sank as he nodded. "Yes, I remember it well."

Kea reached out to touch the man's hand. "Then you know why I wanted to help this child. He is the light that will lead us out of this darkness. "

The man looked into Kea's eyes and then nodded again before standing. "I understand. And I trust your judgment." He said before walking out of the door.

I still stood outside the living room with my back against the wall.

'Child of the Prophecy? What did they mean? What is the prophecy? Why do they think it's me?' So many questions flew through my mind but were soon stopped.

"You can come out now, son." The man said. I jumped at the fact he knew I was here. But for how long?

I carefully walked into the living room and looked at the floor. Then looked up at the two who were looking at me.

"Come sit here, sweetie." The woman said as she patted the seat in between her and the man. I hesitated for a while before finally doing as she asked.

As I sat, I couldn't take my eyes off the counter then a hand was placed on my shoulder to release the tension. "I'm sorry for Kai's behavior. Sometimes he can get a little-"

"No, it's fine. It's my fault. I should have never yelled at Sachi. I should be the one apologizing." I said, squeezing my hands together.

"No, Sachi should have never said such a thing to you. We don't know how your life was before so we shouldn't have just assumed it was a good one with a family. Not everyone has one." The dad said.
