Chapter 2

Christopher 

I know that I should've gone with Katherine, but I wanted to kill this man for a long time and the anger that I was controlling for a while just exploded. I feel my hands hurt and bleed as I punch him harder and harder. His whole face is covered in blood and he squirms from the pain. It's not helping, It's not helping and I don't think that It would help if I kill him right now.

"Stop!" Diana yells. The only thing that I could see was red, that I didn't even hear Diana's yelling. Fuck. Katherine should not be seeing me like this. I turn around to find her, but she's not here.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Harvey yells, making Logan stand up. I have to say, he's a fighter if he's still alive after me and Harvey punching him that hard.

Ethan grabs Logan's other arm and I step closer to him.

"He asked you a question." I bark at his face and he spits blood from his mouth.

The people at the terrace are running away from the violent scene and the workers are walking back inside the restaurant. I assume that it's one of Katherine's places and they won't call the cops. Shit. I have to find her.

"I have unfinished business with Katherine." He dares to say and I punch him.

"Geez man!" Ethan exclaims. "You'll kill him!" He warns me, but I don't care at this point.

"What unfinished business?" Diana asks with a shaky voice. I step back a little or I'll literally kill him.

"Not that I owe you any explanation..." He manages to say. "But I'm running away from some people that Katherine sent after me."

"What people?" Diana asks him, with disgust.

"Bad people." He says blankly. "Your worst nightmare."

"What's that supposed to mean? How does my sister have anything to do with this?" Harvey yells.

"The people who killed your parents. She literally controls them!" Logan blurts out and Harvey drops his hands from him, making Ethan take ahold of Logan by himself.

"What?!" Diana and Harvey exclaim at the same time.

"She found some documents and now they're scared of her more than death." Logan smirks at Harvey's expression. My anger boils inside of me. "Your sister's little revenge plan is costing me a lot." He says and that's it. He said enough.

I walk toward him to connect my fist with his jaw, but Harvey stops me. I look at him and he looks back at me with dead eyes. Did he really just believe what that mother fucker said?

"Go find her." He says to me.

I know that I have to, but where did she go? I look around stupidly and Diana gives me a sympathetic look, "She went across the road." she informs me and I run to where she told me. Couple of cars almost run me over as I run to the beach across the road. It's dark here, even the lights from the street are not helping, but I can hear her sobbing. The sound cuts through me like a razor blade. She begged me to come with her after seeing the person that she fears the most in the world and I left her alone. I left her alone crying here.

I walk over to her and she looks up to my face and her lips apart. As I get to my knees next to her, I look into her face. My beautiful girl's face is red from crying so hard and her tears are falling down with an enormous speed. She covers her face with her hands, sobbing and screams in defeat. I can't hear her hurting like this, it's breaking my heart. I pull her to me by her back and she wraps her hand around me crying into my chest.

"Shh.. It's okay." I tell her and rub my hand up and down her back to calm her down.

But as she tries to breathe through her cry, she screams harder and I wish that I could do something to stop this. Her every sob sends a shiver through me, her every scream stabs a blade inside of me.
