Katherine
I don't know how the rest of the days went away, but they were amazing. Christopher really was feeling bad about our argument, I could see it on his face and on everything he was doing. We went to a beach one day to watch the sunset as we were up all night and we saw little sharks in the water. It's actually very interesting how they come so close to the beach. Mostly we stayed in our room, having a bath in a jacuzzi or swimming in the ocean at night. That was magical, to walk out of the room to jump into the crystal clear water and then lay down on the water and look at the stars. So peaceful and relaxing.
When we get back to America, I feel like we've been there for a month and I didn't want the vacation to end. Especially the fact that I have to take my stuff back into the dorms tomorrow and then the next day I have classes. I don't want to, but I have to. So in the morning I wake up next to Chris with his hands wrapped around my waist. I check the time to see that it's nine. We did get jet lagged, but I forced myself to sleep by our time in hopes that it would work. Chris on the other hand couldn't really sleep, I don't know when he joined me on the bed. I stand up and walk into the bathroom to get ready. As soon as I do this thing the better it will be. The campus is probably crowded with students today, go figure. Everyone is back at the dorms and I'm actually excited to see Diana. As I brush my teeth, I feel a weird feeling inside of me. I wash my mouth from the toothpaste and slowly breathe in and out to get rid of the nauseous feeling. It happens to me sometimes so I ignore it and walk back into the bedroom and change into black jeans and a white shirt before getting out of the apartment with my stuff. I only took half of the things, considering the fact that I'm mostly living with Christopher, I don't need much there.
"Kat!" Diana exclaims as I open the door to our small dorm room and place my stuff on the bed. "I've missed you!" She says, hugging me tightly and I return the gesture.
"Me too D!" I say. I really did miss her. I used to go everywhere with her and now I don't see her for weeks. It's weird. "How was living at Ethan's place?" I ask her and sit on the bed.
"Not so good." She says and sits on her bed.
"What happened?" I ask her with concern.
"You know it's different when you live with the person and we just started dating..." She says looking at the floor. "We're together but it was a different experience for us. I think that we have to get to know each other better." She says, not making any sense.
"Well, you know that I'm always here right? You can come to me any time." I tell her and she nods.
"I know Kat." She stands up from the bed and hugs me again, pulling me to my feet. "I really really missed you!" She says swaying side to side. "And you're so gorgeous. Look at that tan!" She exclaims looking at me.
"Thanks." I smile.
We hear a knock on the door and I open it to reveal Hayley.
"Hayley!" I exclaim as she steps into the room and hugs me.
"Hey girl!" She says. "You look amazing. How was the vacation?" All three of us sit down on my bed.
"Vacation was... amazing." I say, laying my back on the bed.
"Of course it was." Diana rolls her eyes. "Maldives with the boyfriend... Did you two at least get out of the room?" She teases.
"Yeah... Once." I joke and we burst into laughter.
As I sit up, I feel nauseous again. "Are you okay?" Diana asks, suddenly concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I say. "How was your winter break girls?" I ask them. I try to breath in and out slowly without girls noticing and gulp down the water forming in my mouth.
