Katherine
"I have several messages from Diana." I say as we land at the San Francisco International Airport. Why the fuck does people get up as soon as the plane lands? Idiots. The safety rules are not just formality. You don't know what might happen in these couple of minutes while the plane drives to the parking zone.
"She probably talked to Mr. Barclay." Chris says.
"Probably."
As the fasten seat belt sign turns off, we stand up and walk towards the exit.
"Thank you for choosing British Airways. Enjoy your stay." The flight attendances say as we walk past.
"Have a nice day." I say to them and walk up the terminal bridge.
"How are we going to get our luggage?" I ask as Chris takes my hand in his.
"I have no idea baby... what I'm worried about is that we might get into trouble for it." He says.
I dial Diana, although the time difference is evident. I have to talk to her.
"Yes." She answers her phone.
"Diana, are you okay?" I ask her.
"Other than the fact that all my life I have been living without any parents. Blaming myself for being the reason, just to find out that I never lost my mother and that she doesn't want me..." She laughs. "Nothing. But I guess we are cousins now, that's good."
"D..."
"No, I'm okay, really. I never had a mother, so I don't care."
"We were always each other's family. I love you bestie." I say, trying to make this somehow easier for her.
"I know Kat. I love you too."
It turns out that if your luggage flies without you, there might be a bomb or there is a good chance that you're terrorist. Which is bullshit if you had the first class tickets.
"I swear I'm going to kill that man." Chris snaps.
"Easy there captain England." I say, pulling him by his arm.
"What?" He asks with a questioning look.
"You know... I changed Captain America to Captain England, because you're English." I explain and he chuckles.
"I would've said that you're terrible at jokes, but that usually is not the case..."
"But I did distract you, didn't I?" I say proudly and he looks back frantically, then at me.
"How did you do that?" He totally forgot that he is supposed to be angry at that man.
"With my charm."
"Oh, is that so?" He smirks. "Let's go Black witch."
"What?" I scowl and he bursts into laughter.
"I changed Black widow to Black witch." He says proudly.
"You're terrible at jokes." I say and he smiles.
"Well not everyone can be as good as you are."
"I fucking hope so." I say and walk away.
He grabs my wrist and turns me around, pulling me to him. "You're not going anywhere." He says and caresses my cheek.
"I have an idea." I say, our lips almost touching. I feel like time has stopped. Both of our breathings changed and neither of us can deny the lust between us.
"What idea?" He asks, brushing his lips across mine.
"That we should go home." I say and pull away from him in his relaxed state.
