Katherine

"Good morning sunshine!" Chris says walking over to me in the coffee shop.

I, as always, came here to get my daily dose of caffeine before classes. "You're in a good mood." I point out, as I look at the very handsome guy with a huge smile on his face.

"Yeah, because someone's birthday is tomorrow." He says, leaning back on the counter. This reminds me of something and I chuckle at the memory.

"What?" He asks with amusement.

"Do you remember how we were bickering here six months ago? You were leaning against that counter and asking me why I didn't come to the party." I remind him.

"Yeah... interesting times." He says with a warm smile.

"Oh, yeah, so interesting." I roll my eyes playfully. "I was ready to kill you right here... and then when I left the coffee shop I ran into Ethan and almost spilled my coffee."

"Then you had to come back into the shop and I would've got to see you again."

"No thanks. I would've left."

"Why?" He asks genuinely surprised.

"Because I didn't know that I had feelings for you. But I sure as hell knew that I was attracted to you." I admit and he stands in front of me, taking my hands in his. He doesn't say anything but presses his lips to mine.

"Iced americano for Katherine." The barista says.

"Great timing." Chris pouts.

"Come on." I say taking my coffee and leading him outside. "So when is your last class?" I ask him as we walk down the sidewalk.

"At two." He stops walking and turns to me. "I have a plan for tomorrow."

I purse my lips in irritation and he kisses my nose, smiling. "Don't worry it's going to be just the two of us." He assures me sweetly.

"I would've been okay with staying at home." I shrug.

"You're going to like this one. Actually I was shocked by the coincidence..." He boasts.

"What did you plan?" I ask as innocently as possible.

"Not telling." Shit. It didn't work.

"Not fair." I pout.

"It's going to be a surprise baby." He says and kisses my forehead. "Let's go to the class or you'll kill me." He jokes and I swat his arm.

"But, what should I wear? You have to give me a hint." I say, crossing the lawn.

"What would you wear to a place where there were a lot of people and you can dance?" He asks and I tilt my head to the side. Is it a nightclub? I don't think that Chris would like to go to a place like that. We spend all of our lives there.

"Probably a dress or pants with some kind of a crop top." That's what I usually choose. He knows this.

"More casual." He smiles at me.

"Jeans and a shirt?" I ask sarcastically as we reach my classroom.

"Yeap."

No freaking way!

"You're serious." I say and he chuckles.

"Obviously you can choose something that would look fancy, but that's the dress code." He says.

Well, if it's casual but with a lot of people... maybe it's a concert. Oh my god! That would've been incredible. "Okay." I say and kiss him before walking away.
