The Sneaky Plan (Completed)

- Chapter 1 : The start -

I believe that the very purpose of life is to be happy.  I mean,  bakit ka mag wa-waste ng time para maging malungkot at miserable diba? Kaya ayaw ko ng drama's. Never.

My parents own the biggest company in Makati. May condo ako na gift sakin nila mom and dad nung 18th birthday ko at may boyfriend ako. What more could I ask for? Whatever is happening  right now in my life is exactly the way it should be.

I'm just a 3rd year college student taking up, interior design but I'm already capable designing  interiors of  buildings and houses of some investors here in Manila and in Makati. How you asked? My parents discovered daw na I have a potential daw in interior designing, kaya naman lagi nila akong ibinibida sa mga investors and sa mga kaibigan nila. And this is how I ended up doing projects at my very young age. Sabi nila mom and dad, okay na raw na matuto at  maaga kong maexperience ang work. I have no complains naman dahil gusto ko yung ginagawa ko. Being workaholic sure runs on our blood.

Nagulat ako nung nag ring yung phone ko. I rolled my eyes upon seeing the screen.  Buti at tumawag siya.

("Alice, are you busy?")

"Konti. Why?"

("You see, I have a plan for you to work on. It's for the house that Danger and I bought last year. I want you to be the interior designer of our house.")

"I'm busy Bella. Iba nalang." I said. Alam kong sembreak namin ngayon but, marami kasing investors na tumatawag saakin. Naguguluhan na nga ako.

("Please? For your pretty sister?")

I rolled my eyes. Sigurado akong nag po-pout na siya ngayon sa kabilang linya. Ganyan kasi siya.

"Okay fine."

("Yes! I love you sis.")

"Kelan ka uuwi. Nagtatampo na sila mom and dad. 2 years ka na jan sa Los Angeles can you take a break?"

("Alice, I'm a model. Models don't take breaks. Pero I promise, uuwi na ako next month.")

"Okay fine." I rolled my eyes. "Just hurry, ako lagi kinukulit nila mom and dad e, nakakainis kaya."

("Don't worry. Danger will be there.")

"Bella, I have to go andito na pala si Trevor." sabi ko.

Ibinaba ko na yung phone.

"Tara na?" said Trevor and I nodded. He gave me a quick peck on my lips.

I smiled.

"Kausap mo kapatid mo?" He asked. "Pansin ko bakit hindi mo siya tinatawag na ate. Diba ate mo yun?"

Kahit kasi na boyfriend ko 'tong lalaking 'to. Marami parin siyang hindi alam tungkol saakin. Mas gusto ko kasi yung ganito. Laging may surprises and facts . Ayoko yung lahat alam niya tungkol saakin. Parang wala nang thrill kasi pag ganon. I like it that way. Everyday na magkasama kami mas marami kaming nalalaman sa isa't isa.

"One year lang naman tanda niya saakin." I said. "Atsaka she hates calling her ate. Tumatanda daw kasi siya."

Trevor just chuckled. I saw his perfect set of teeth. Gwapo talaga neto.

Pumunta kami sa isang restaurant . Wala naman. We just ate. A typical date.

Morning came and my sister,  sent me an email. She showed me her suggestion layouts. She said that Danger will pick me up today to show the house. Nakakabilib lang , ang tagal na nila . I thought hindi talaga nag wowork ang long distance but there was Bella and Danger to prove me wrong.

I was still getting ready when the telephone rang.

"Ma'am, may nag aantay sainyo dito sa baba. Danger Nimedez daw po."

"Ah, okay."

Nag madali na akong nagbihis at agad na bumaba ako , luckily wala masyadong tao sa elevator ng condo, kundi matatagalan pa ako.

I went outside and there was a guy waiting. He was leaning on his car habang nag ce-cellphone.

It's kinda awkward, lalapitan ko ba siya or what should I say first? Hindi pa naman ako magaling mag approach ng tao, lalo na't kung ngayon ko lang makakasama. Yup, hindi ko naman siya nakakasama before. Pag kasama niya kasi si Bella, may sarili silang mundo.

"Hi?" I awkwardly said at napatingin siya saakin. "Danger right?"
