|Astrid's POV|

Pinilit kong pumunta sa kusina to quench my thirst. At ganoon na lang ang aking pagkabigla nang makitang magulo ang dating malinis at maayos na kusina. They all stopped from laughing as their hands full of flour froze in the air. I bet they felt my presence at their back.

"I told you to eat not to create a big big mess!" Natasha entered the picture as she shouted at the top of her lungs. She's about to blow another set of lecture when she noticed the three looking at me.

"H-hi, Agent Mier!" she said, stammering.

I didn't get the chance to answer back or even frown when my sight doubles and became blurry. I tried hard to keep my feet right on the ground while my hands started creeping for something to hold on.

My body ached and stiffened. Is this still the effect of the drug? I heard Natasha's voice calling for my name as the three runs at my direction by adrenaline rush. It all happened as simply as 1,2,3 in a slow motion. But before everything went black, someone's arms snaked around my body and kept on uttering my name. The deafening sound of a vase rules the whole kit and caboodle as I lost my consciousness.

"Astrid."

"Astrid."

"Astrid."

I stirred when the sun rays hit my eyes. I blink and scratch them using the back of my palm and sluggishly get up. My judgments wander the whole place. The striking water cascades from a hill surrounded by trees down to the glittering lake caused by the stream of light of the sun. I walked near the falls and allow the cold water to flow on my hand.

This is nirvana. A smile on my face appeared with delight and joyfulness as I closed my eyes and focus on the sound of a piano. Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata suddenly played. I fiercely open my eyes and started searching for something suspicious.

Ganoon na lang ang aking pagkagulat nang maging himlayan ng mga patay ang dating paraiso. The trees were dead and the water from the hill stopped flowing and was replaced by blood surrounded with bones. Tombstones and monuments of the dead are all I can see plus the piano in the middle of the lifeless field, played by someone. He paused and stood up, carrying a gun, and directly walks to where I stand.

"Scylla Styx." He mumbles with a smirk and pulled the trigger straight to my head. "See you in hell."

"ASTRID!" I open my eyes in shudder and immediately received a smack on my shoulder. Pain instantly registered on my face.

"Oh gosh! Sorry, sorry! But it's still your fault! Hindi ba uso sa iyo yung unti-unting pagmulat ng mga mata?" Natasha grumped.

"How do you feel?" It was Seth, leaning on the wall near the door.

"Are you fine?" and Drake, doing the same thing at the end of my bed.

"How's the taste of the drug they'd injected?" We eyed with an eyebrow raised like we're saying, seriously? That was your question? She raised her hands in the air that shows defeat and rested her body on the couch near me.

"Where's Art?" I asked. Seth motioned his thumb outside while Drake pointed the door with his mouth. I nodded.

I caressed my neck hiding under my hair. That syringe is absolutely bigger than that Natasha's needle she used on me weeks ago.

"What happened to me?" No one dares to answer. They exchanged glances until Seth broke the glass.

"Natasha will do the explaining part." He said and gave Drake a signal to follow him outside. As soon as the door closes, I looked at her. She grunts and lazily moved her seat near me and heaved a sigh.

She told me I was asleep for 12 hours because of the upshot of the drug. I was right. She continued her story when she saw me in the kitchen and the rest is history.

"I know them." I said as I pull my body to lean on the headrest of my bed and faced her. She frowns.

"The who?"

"The Senifee siblings." She stared at me for some seconds that it caused me to roll my eyes heavenwards.

"They came from Russia. The princess and princes of the Russian Monarchy, King Janus and Queen Nimesis of the Senifee Sovereigns. I worked for them to look after their kids."

"You mean, as a babysitter?" I crossed my arms across my chest as she fights the urge of laughing aloud.

"Done?"

"Yes. Continue."

"Prince Lexus was the first born of the Senifee's followed by Prince Dionysus. The two brought happiness to the King and Queen that's why they named the second born after the god of wine and ecstasy. Well, I understand the ecstasy but I don't know what's behind the wine."

"Maybe that's the reason why Dionysus is here on Earth." She said half laughing and suddenly stops. "They're weird, don't you think?"

"Beats me." I shrugged. "After a year, Queen Nimesis gave birth to their third child."

"I know how to count, Astrid." She rolls her eyes and waves her hand in front of me. Hindi ko na lang siya pinatulan 'cause I already stab her many times in my mind.

"Their third born brought victory to their empire when King Janus came back with a good news. He won the battle in Jericho that is why -"

"...they named her after the goddess of victory in Greek Mythology, Nike." She tss-ed right after she concluded. I looked at her with amusement.

"I didn't know that there is still something on your head, Natasha."

"Well, the third born already told me about that." She smirked. Unti-unting naglaho ang reaksyon ko kanina.

"Then why did you let me to discuss everything about them?"

"You are 12 hours asleep. That's freaking 12 hours! You badly need to talk. Thank me for I am the one who didn't let your breath to make a fuss over your mouth!" she said like she was praising herself. Well, she really is.

"Anyway, don't you want to know who's the one who catch you when you were about to fall?" I gaze at her as she stood up and crossed her arms on her chest.

I kept my mouth shut and waited for her to answer her own question. She started walking towards the door and held the knob when someone popped up.

"Rex! Go out!" She booed.

"Why? I'm going to chat with Astrid. We'll gonna do catching up, ya know? Hi, Astrid!" His jolliness didn't fade away even a bit. I smiled at him and nod. Natasha didn't let Rex to come in and he keeps on asking why and why not. They are like that for a minute however I looked at my window and slightly moved the curtain to see the darkness outside.

"Oh, here he is!" Natasha shriek that made me to look at her way, ferociously. She giggles and kicked herself out of the room with Rex, struggling and still asking his why's and why not's. But before shutting the door, she pushed him in and winks at me.

And now that he's here, why do I feel awkward?
