“Seth, are you still----” I run of words as I look back seeing Seth and a 4 Men in Black. The one pointing his gun at the temple of Seth while the 3 are on me.

“woah! You’re too fast huh” I said while my hands are up

“throw your guns and also your belt” the one told me

“your wish is my command” I said as I follow what he want

“so, what’s now?...Can you bring my partner back?” I said

They harshly push Seth to me as they point their guns on us.

“uhh. That’s unfair. We don’t have any guns or what” I said while I make face

“Astrid! Are you insane?! Don’t talk to them. What if they got offended?” Seth’s whisper.

“It’s ok. Much better if they will” I whisper back

“what’s your plan?” he said

“as I’ve said, none” I said

“what are you whispering?” the one said

“maybe they are praying for someone who will save them like superman” the other one said while laughing

“haha! Yeah right!” Seth’s said while laughing

Oh God! Why did you give me an insane partner?! Don’t they realize that it’s a corny joke? Err.

“ha-ha-ha. Nothings funny…well…” I pause then look at their faces and says “…aside from your faces” I said in a serious tone

“what did you said?!”

“kailangan ko pa bang ulitin?” I said while rolling my eyes

“what?! I don’t understand what are you talking about!” the one said and its look like they are pissing off

“ugh! Edi intindihin mo! What brains are for?” I said

“what?!” they shout again

“wala. Sabi ko, bat ang panget niyo? Wala na ba talagang gwapo sa mundo?” sabi ko as I look at them from head to toe

“hey! Nandito kaya ako!” Seth’s said

“so?” I said and just roll my eyes over him

“tss” Seth.

“I don’t understand what are you 2 saying. Hold them and bring them at the Van. Don’t forget to tie their hands and feet. And also put a hanky on their mouth for Pete’s sake!” maybe their leader said. Ganun na ba kami ka-ingay?

 As their leader said, they do what he told them. They bring, or shall I say, they harshly push us inside the van and went to a very neat and relaxing place?

Location: Hideout Place, Laguna

Time: 8:35 pm

Seriously? Why here? I’m expecting to an abandoned house or building or such a dirty and creepy place but…why here? Why I a rest house?

“bring them inside” their boss said

As they bring us inside and tied us to a chair back to back, I can’t help but to love the view. Cause I’m facing a white sand beach with a mild wave. I can feel the breeze of the cold air that touches my skin. It’s so peaceful in here.

As they remove the hanky in our mouth, Seth shout and shout to them until he shut all by himself.

“I love the view.”

“yeah! She’s right. Let go of --- WHAT?!”

“Ahuh. I love the place. Where are we?” I asked.

“at a hiding place in Laguna” the one said

“wow! So, what are we doing here? Just to show this beautiful view?” Seth’s said with full sarcasm

“of course to kill you” their leader said with a serious look

“oh creepy” I said as I laugh

“yeah. Very creepy” Seth’s agree then we laugh like we’re not in danger

Paano ba namang hindi diba? Eh ang ganda ganda ng place na pinagdalhan sa amin then what? Just to kill us? What is this? A prank?

“oh. Good. I want to die in a very peaceful place like this” I said like I was feeling the breezes but I actually cutting the ropes with my laser watch

“God Astrid?! Seriously?!” Seth’s whisper with angriness

“yeah. That’s my dream. Hope it will come true…but…” I said as I completely cut the ropes.

“but what?” they ask even Seth

“…but…for now…”
