I feel forced to rush Shimizu's phase but there's more to say about them... Well, this might be the last chapter for their phase and hope you enjoy Burning Hearts: The Sequel 😂

Shimizu

I woke up lying in bed and felt painful body aches from every fucking where. Excuse my profanities, I've been keeping them inside for a long time so I figured I needed to let them out. I tried to get up but the aches were so painful I was stuck lying in bed.

"Fucking hell, it hurts..." I mumbled.

I scanned my room and there, on the nightstand, was a small tun of water and a wet cloth. I felt my forehead and it was warm. Did I have a fever? Do I have one? I surrounded my mind with irrelevant questions and I was so distracted from answering them I didn't notice Ember and Aiko enter.

"You're awake. Here's medicine and water," Aiko said as he placed a small tray containing a glass of water and two tablets.

"Here's food Zonji made. Today's menu is his father's bento..." Ember drifted from her words after noticing my inattention.

"Shimizu," Ember called.

I flinched and turned only to scare the shit out of myself. Fuck, I just got scared by my god niece and nephew. Wait a minute, scared? I can't show my emotions because of my schizoid personality disorder. Unless... I thanked them for helping to bring the stuff and they left the room, wishing for my recovery. The body aches had disappeared so I sat up, took the delicious bento and ate it before taking my medication. I tossed the pills into my mouth and drank the glass of water. The two pills were small so it was easy to swallow. As the pills' side effects kicked in, I felt drowsy and dozed off again.

Law

I peeked through a small gap and Shimizu dozed off. I slowly opened the door, tiptoed to their cute nightstand, took the tray and empty bento box and tiptoed out. I then gave the utensils to Aiko and he brought it to the kitchen. I turned around and Shimizu was still asleep, thankfully. I sighed and closed the door. I then walked to the bird's nest where Hana and Ember sat. Those lesbians having their time. I sat beside them and stared at the sky.

"Law-san," Hana called.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Is there some advice you have for getting along with Shimizu?" She asked.

I stared at the bright sky and after a few seconds, I smiled.

"Just be yourself and always smile. They like to see smiles and there's no harm being authentic with them," I advised.

Hana nodded and Ember leaned closer to Hana and pecked her cheek. Hana blushed and I only chuckled while looking at them. Luffy would do that to me back then. We all sat there until Curiel yapped happily. We climbed down the nest and Curiel smiled and hopped around playfully.

"Is something going on?" I asked.

"Aiko and Zonji, best friends sitting in the kitchen, F-U-C-K-I-N-G~!" Curiel sang.

Ember and Hana giggled and ran to the kitchen to hear the session. I calmed Curiel down and he sighed softly.

"Reminds me of Ace and Marco on the Moby Dick. They'd always be so loud," Curiel recalled.

"Well, the night's never too young, right?" I said.

"Law. I need to say this because I feel it's time," He said.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's time... to find a new doctor."

I wasn't surprised he announced but I was quite shocked he announced it early. I nodded and we turned to a door opening. Shimizu had awoken from their slumber. They looked tired and their eyes were barely open. Curiel and I approached them slowly so they don't attack us. You might be wondering where I got this wild idea. If you want a high-quality assassin sleeping under your bed and ready to kill you, be my guest to not believe. I gently nudged Shimizu by the shoulder and they looked up. They looked... dead.

"Uhm... Shimi?" I called.

"Boo, bitches!" They yelped, changing from a dead expression to a scary look.

Curiel screamed so loud he made a small flock of migrating birds fly from the bird's nest. I think it was so loud that Aiko and Zonji probably couldn't finish their sex. Poor mates. The four kids ran out to our area and Shimizu broke down in laughter.

"Oh my God, you should've seen the look on his face!" Shimizu commented.

"Of course, you and your jumpscares. Good thing I'm not taking your heart out for that. Though, it's a good scare for us oldies," I told them.

Curiel started cursing under his breath and we all laughed, bringing the mood on the Moby Dick up again.

I don't know. The sequel seems quite plotless by this chapter but I have a rough idea of the plot. I just need to write everything out here and then, I'll read the book to figure out my main plot and sub plot. Ok, see you in the next sequel chapter!
