Sequel Chapter 6

Ember

I looked at the detailed maps and pictures in the book. Most of the islands we visited, other than Dressrosa, Whole Cake Island and Wano, haven't changed after the Straw Hats' era. Although, we needed to find one last island; Raftel or, as some call it, Laughtale. Zonji told us after we find this Raftel island, he's going away to find the All Blue. His mom told him about it when he was younger and he was fascinated by uncle Sanji's story that he wants to see it for himself. Honestly, I told him we'd see it together. I vaguely heard the rumours and myths but after confirming them, I decided to see this sea for myself.

"Ember, we're at Zou! I see Zunesha!" Aiko said.

I smiled and ran to the deck. True to Aiko's word, the elephant was walking in front of us. I waved at it and shouted hello to him. The island on him was gone after the pirates helped place it on the sea. Zunesha blew his trunk in response and we talked through telepathy for a while before we head off to Whole Cake Island. I bid goodbye to Zunesha and we sailed off.

A few days later

As we sailed, everything was peaceful. Until we got hit by a cannonball.

"Ah, fuck! Cannonball! Everyone, defend Moby!" I exclaimed.

Curiel, Aiko and Hana launched the cannonballs while Shimizu and Law fought the invaders who were on the ship. I turned to look at the intruder ship and saw a boy with light brown skin and his eyes were full of crimson red malice.

"Zehahahaha! I know you remember me!" He laughed and then shouted.

I gasped at the boy whom I recognised from East Blue. It was Teach's son, Marshall D. Teach II. His father was a cruel and cunning Yonko and Teach II was no different. Teach fired more cannonballs and we were running out soon. This is bad. The intruders were already retreating to Teach's ship but we were going to be sunken down if I don't think or act fast. A maroon-coloured cannonball then appeared out of the blue and hit Teach's ship.

"Who's that?!"

"Yo, Ember. Long time no see."

I turned and saw a familiar ship with a jolly roger flag drawn with a three-clawed scar on one of its eyes. It was Shanks' ship but I recognised the new captain.

"Yo, Uta. How's it been?"

Uta, Shanks'daughter. My childhood friend and Aiko's dating counsellor. She fired at Teach's ship, making him growl angrily and swiftly sail away.

"I'll come back for you, Ember! And I'll make sure that straw hat's mine!" Teach vowed as he sailed away.

"Yeah, right! Cocksucking motherfucker!" I cursed, also pointing my middle finger at him.

Uta then sailed towards me and I connected my ship with hers using rope. She hopped on my ship and hugged me. Aiko hugged her and she asked if his boyfriend was on the ship. We only met after 5 years and she already got a grasp of our situation.

"Damn, how'd you know already? Zonji, Uta's here!" Aiko yelled.

Zonji appeared out of the kitchen with heart eyes and a big smile.

"Uta-san~ Hello~!" Zonji greeted like a fanboy.

Aiko smacked Zonji's forehead before he could touch the girl. Like mother, like son. Uta giggled and looked at Hana before smiling widely.

"Ooh, Hana. It's been a while," Uta asked.

"Yeah, it has been a while. How's Dad?" Hana asked.

Everyone but Shimizu, Uta and Hana looked at them, confused. I was more confused as I knew Uta was Shanks' and Mihawk's child but I never heard of Shanks having another child.

"You guys are so slow," Shimizu said.

We turned to them and felt even more confused. They sighed and pointed to Hana.

"Hana is Shanks' godchild."

"What?!"

I told them. I had opened my mouth and spoke the fact. I knew about it as Luffy told me about it five years ago. He said Shanks had two children; a birthchild and godchild. The godchild was Hana, Makino's child. The birthchild was Uta. They've been together since childhood. Then, Uta was left at an island after something bad had happened on Shanks' ship and Shanks didn't want her to be endangered. As for Hana, she was brought to East Blue where it's safer for her and taken care of by Makino.

A few years later, Hana wanted to reunite with Uta so she set off to find her. However, she wasn't lucky, got caught by bandits and killed. Her body got dumped into the sea but her soul still roamed around, looking for Uta. Hana found Uta but was only able to talk through her thoughts. Hana then roamed around again to find someone who could turn her into a human again and ended up with us. I knew it was Hana when I saw her but I acted like I didn't know her because I wasn't sure if it's actually her. Only when I turned her human again did I find out it was truly her. I secretly called Uta and told her I found her sister. The two started to talk again and kept in touch often. Now, they're seeing each other face-to-face.

"Yeah. We're godsiblings. Right, Hana?" Uta said.

"Yeah," Hana agreed.

Ember and Aiko were so close to passing out in shock, Law was shocked for an old geezer and Curiel was in another world. The two godsisters giggled before hugging each other. Eventually, everyone recovered from the sudden shock and talked to Uta, asking her many questions. Uta then departed and we bid goodbye to her before untying the rope and going our ways.

"Don't forget to update me, sis!"

"Same to you!"

I smiled and looked at Ember who looked at me.

"So, captain. Where are we going now?"

Ember looked at everyone who smirked and also smiled. She smiled as well and then looked to the sky. She raised her fist and inhaled deeply.

"Next stop, Whole Cake Island!"

Like I said in the previous chapter, we're on the twins' journey. I don't want to give spoilers but I can say someone will die on Whole Cake Island.
