It's been days since that encounter with Akashi, I wish that I could say each day has been great and wonderful. And that I've finally moved on. But I couldn't.
I feel disgusting. Memories of what that monster did to me. How I could have just pushed him away and punch him but I couldn't since I can't.
It's been horrible these past days. People avoid me as if I'm the plague, even the boys in Rakuzan basketball glares at me when they see me. All in all, I was alone.
And him, he changed.
-Flashback-
I sat in my seat reading a novel as I try to distract myself from the whispers and the glares.
"Eto, Akashi-kun?" I whipped my head up from hearing the sweet voice of a girl and saw Kaye, one of my classmates. She was blushing as she offered a box of chocolate in her hands to Akashi who focused playing shogi.
My heart broke as Akashi looked up to her, took the chocolate and held her hands. I heard a lot of squeals and giggles coming from her girlfriends. And a few weak howl from the boys.
But no one was expecting Akashi to pull out a pair of red scissors from his pocket. Everyone stopped to look at the scene.
I watched, as Kaye's eyes grew nervous. Akashi had a menacing look in his face as he pinned her hands on top of the shogi board. His heterochromatic eyes glaring down at the short blonde girl.
Everyone gasped, including me, as he raised the scissor and nearly stabbed her hands; the sharpened steel was only a few centimeters away from her skin. Then Akashi looked at her still not letting go of her hands, Kaye looked at him with horror written in her face.
"That's a first warning." Akashi said sending shivers down my spine. He let go of her hand and Kaye went running to her friends with tears in her eyes.
The bell rang and I watched as everyone took their seats. Everyone who witnessed what has happened, especially Kaye, was shaking with fear in their seats.
I looked at Akashi as he pulled out the scissors from the shogi board placing it back in his pockets. Then my eyes met his as he looked at me with an emotionless face, as if nothing happened.
He took his seat and crossed his arm as the teacher entered the room. The chocolate on the floor completely forgotten.
-Flashback ended-
I shook my head at that memory. The incident was popular around school. But instead of girls dismissing their attraction to Akashi, they actually developed more feelings. To them, he was a trophy to behold to and to brag to everyone.
Everyone in school treated him with respect and bowed down to his control. He was cold to everyone, even to his friends in the basketball team. Everyone feared him, including the senpais, teachers and the principal.
No one dares defy him.
But nobody complained because ever since then, the school flourished more than ever before. Everyone admires him for his hard work for the school and for being the captain of the basketball team and at the same time the Student Council President as a second year. He was renowned as the smartest person in school.
It was as if our relationship never existed, like everything that's happening right now has been happening ever since the beginning.
But even then, I still can't move on. Because I don't want to. I refuse to stop loving him, because it's impossible to.
I sighed as I jotted down the last sentence of my homework in Science. Groaning, I went to the kitchen and prepared some cup noodles. These past days I've been eating nothing but cup noodles.
I took the cup and sat down the couch. I placed a random movie and started eating my cup noodles.
It was in the middle of the movie when I felt myself getting drowsy and sleepy.
I woke up when I heard the sound of loud knocking. I groaned as I pushed myself up from the comfy couch.
I rubbed my eyes, as I opened the door, not bothering to ask who it was. I gasped as I saw the members of GOM and Kuroko-kun looking displeased.
I felt Aomine grab my shoulders.
"Why would you do that to him?" he shouted. His voice was full of anger I couldn't answer because of shock.
"Aomine-kun, please calm down. We should ask her nicely."I heard Kuroko-kun's gentle voice as he tapped Aomine's arm. Aomine grunted as he let me go. I gathered my wits as I asked them why they're here.
"We're here to ask you about what happened between you and Akashi-kun." Kuroko looked at me with disappointment in his eyes.
"You don't know?" I stupidly said. A 'Tch' was heard from Midorima as he fixed his glasses.
"Of course we know. You cheated on Akashicchi with some bastard." Kise said with disgust in his voice, as he looked sideways, refusing to acknowledge me.
"What we came here for is to ask you why." I craned my neck to look at Murasakibara and was surprised that he wasn't carrying any food. He looked down at me with hatred in his eyes.
"And to beat you up." Aomine would never hit a girl, but from the look on his face, I wasn't too sure about that anymore. He was like a brother to me. And now I've disappointed him.
"Well, come in. I'll tell you everything." I said in defeat.
I sat in the couch as everybody else looked at me. They refused to sit down.
"Start talking." Aomine ordered. I cleared my throat as I started from the beginning of everything.
Everyone paid their full attention to what I was saying.
"....so I had no choice but to follow him. And when I did, I tried to push him away but I couldn't. Akashi entered the scene at the wrong time." Tears fell down my face as I chocked back a sob that I was holding. I didn't have the guts to look up to them; they probably despise me more than they already do.
"I tried to tell him, I really did. But he wouldn't lis-" I was cut off as I felt Kise hugging me.
"It's fine, Akiyocchi. We're sorry about a while ago." Kise whispered in my ears.
"Yeah." Aomine said as he looked away with a put in his face.
"A bastard." We all paused as we looked at where the murderous voice came from.
Kuroko-kun looked at us with his usual poker face. Kuroko was one of Akashi's closest friends when they were in Middle School; he was a very kind, gentle and understanding man. Hearing him say these words with that voice was supposedly impossible.
"Don't worry Akiyo, we're here for you." Midorima said as he looked down at me.
Kise stood up and looked at Aomine as if they're having a conversation in their eyes.
"Come on, boys. We've got some killing to do." Aomine crashed his fists together as everyone else smiled with murderous glints in their eyes.
