Tainted Red (Akashi Seijuro X OC)

-Chapter 14-

         I tried to focus on the book that I was reading but I couldn't. It's still very early and the only ones in the classroom is me who is trying to read a book, Yameshi who was asleep in her desk in front of me and then there's Aseni and Akashi who was playing shogi as usual.

        The air was tensed and awkward, at least for me.

  Then I saw Yameshi wake up and brought out her phone that was ringing. I eyed her as she shook her head, pressed reject and threw the phone in her bag before going back to sleep.

  I wonder who that was.

       I couldn't hold it anymore as I brought out my phone and texted Kise-kun. I haven't heard from him ever since I left him. It's been three days since then, he wouldn't respond to my calls and texts. I hope that he's fine.

To: Kise-kun

'Hey Kise-kun! Are you in school already?'

From: Kise-Kun

'No.'

To: Kise-kun

'Are you okay?'

From: Kise-kun

'No.'

To: Kise-kun

'Are you at home? Do you need me to go there?'

From: Kise-kun

'No.'

 

     I sighed as I placed my phone back in my bag. Kise-kun didn't go to school, what should I do? What can I do for him?

    I jumped a little bit when I heard my phone vibrate. I looked at it to see Kuroko-kun calling.

"Hello Kuroko-kun." I answered.

"Akiyo-san, we have a problem. Kise-kun is not answering his phone." He sounded troubled.

"What? I was just texting him a while ago." I said.

"I don't know. But Kasamatsu-senpai told us that he hasn't attended school for the past three days nor is he responding with their calls and text."

"We are in front of his house. He won't open it. Wait, we just heard a cry.  Can you come? He might open it to you." He said urgently.

"Wait, all of you?! I'm coming, just make sure that Kise-kun does not do anything dangerous." I said loudly causing everyone in the room to look at me.

Yameshi had a look of horror in her face when I mentioned the words 'Kise-kun' and 'dangerous'.

  I took my bag and ran outside the classroom when I heard Yameshi pushing her chair and standing up.

"Wait, take me with you." She said and I nodded as we both ran outside of the classroom.

Damn you Kise-kun, please don't do anything dangerous.

We arrived in front of Kise-kun's panting like dogs. Kuroko-kun, Murasakibara, Aomine and Midorima stood there banging on the door.

"Kise! Open the door!" Aomine shouted.

"Akiyo-san, I'm glad you're here." Kuroko-kun looked at me and gave a look to Yameshi.

"She's Yameshi."I said as I made my way to the door and knocked loudly.

"Kise-kun, I know you're in there. Open the door you coward!" I'm fuming right now. I will never forgive myself if Kise-kun did something to harm himself. I never should have left him.
