"Teach, let's go home," you heard Mika's voice in the hallway at the end of the day. He was talking to Shu with an innocently joyful expression on his face. He's so precious. You hardly knew your underclassman but he seemed so attached to Shu that it was adorable, like a dog to its owner perhaps. He appeared to always try his best whenever it came to him.

"No, I have the stuff to do," Shu replied curtly, "go without me."

Oh, they live together? A small thought began to conjure in your mind. Are they perhaps... in a secret relationship?

Maybe Mika wasn't smitten with him because he respected him... perhaps it was love?!!! It would all make sense! You clapped your hands over your mouth in shock at this revelation. The idea of them being together hadn't crossed your mind, but now that you thought about it more it made sense. Perhaps his slight hostility towards you was because he viewed you as a love rival. In that case, you had to patch things up immediately.

"Ah, wait!" you called out to Mika as he walked away. Shu had already gone into the classroom and didn't hear your call (thankfully).

Mika turned around, his heterochromatic eyes widening. "A-ah, (L/n). Ya need somethin'?"
You shook your head. "No, but I was just going to say something. I wanted you to know that I have absolutely no intention of getting in between your relationship with Itsuki. In fact, I fully support it!"

Relationships between idols– much less of the same gender, were not widely accepted in Japan at the moment. In this world of cruelty, you vowed from that moment forth that you would support them completely.

"R-relationship?" Mika's face turned bright red. "Between me and Teach?! N-no, I could only dream about that kinda thing."

He's blushing and trying to hide it. You inwardly cackled to yourself. It's alright Kagehira, I won't tell.

"It stays a secret between us!" you gave him a thumbs up, reassuring him that it was going to be alright.

He reminds me of Sanami.

You couldn't help but feel a bitter twinge of nostalgia for your old classmate even though it had hardly been a day since you two had been separated. Although the two of you weren't the closest of friends, she had been the only person you could comfortably talk to. Mika had the same air around him as she did, so perhaps that's why you wished to leave a good impression on him.

"I don't think yer gettin' it," Mika sighed, still a blushing mess. "Me and teach... we're not that way."

"But aren't you two living together?"

"Uhm, that's–"

"Kagehira! Why are you conversing and making such noise when I'm trying to concen– ah, my marionette!" Shu's expression took a complete one-eighty when he saw me standing there. "I was in the middle of working on a dress I'd like you to try on."
