"Jun," you greeted the blue-haired boy as he was exiting the gates of Reimei Academy. Turning his head, his eyes widened when he saw you.

"(F/n)?" he turned to you, surprised. "What are you doing here?"

"I didn't have to stay after school today, so I figured that I'd come here," you strolled towards him casually, the other kids glancing at your Yumenosaki uniform with a hint of disdain. "What? Did you think I was going to ask for something for my own benefit?"

"When have you ever talked to me without it being for your own benefit," Jun shoved his hands into one of his hands into his pocket harshly, then glanced around and pulled you by your wrist into a more secluded area. "So, what do you need this time?"

"You don't have to sound so hostile," you rolled your eyes. "What's wrong with dropping by to see a friend?"

Jun stared at you quizzically, as if the thought of you doing so was a foreign concept entirely. "I dunno if you hit your head or something else is making you act strange, but I already had plans today."

"Boohoo." You turned away. "Guess I came all this way for nothing. Can I tag along with you? You're just going to rehearsals, right?"

"God, I knew you had an ulterior motive," he let go of your wrist, "and the answer's no, by the way."

You sighed. "You're boring, Jun... I'm going to call up Hiyori."

"How d'ya even have ohii-san's number?" he narrowed his eyes.

"I got pretty much everyone's number from being in the idol course. There's like a group chat or something that all the major idol groups get put in, and someone invited me into it by accident thinking I was also one of them. I managed to get Hiyori's number based on that."

"That's a load of bullcrap," Jun retorted.

"It's true."

"Is not."

"Is too."

"Is not."

"Is too."

"Is—ugh, never mind," Jun poked you irritably on the forehead. "You can be just as bothersome as ohii-san sometimes."

You poked him in the arm. "Okay, well realistically if you actually have rehearsal I'll leave you alone. Catch you later."

"I'll text you," he sighed, relieved that the brief spat was over.

"Have fun!"

You waved him off until he finally disappeared, pulling out your phone on your way to figure out what else was in the area.

Suddenly–and rather conveniently–a message appeared on your phone from none other than Shu Itsuki himself. Great timing.
