— VEGAS.
It's Monday. 8:00am.
I'm outside the main family mansion, on my knees, waiting for Pete and Venice to come out. I begged the guards to let me in, but Pete told them otherwise. I had to wait until his heart grows soft and he finally pities his partner. I was growing impatient while waiting, but I kept things under control. I'm on the wrong, Pete was just worried. Pete never had any shortcomings, I just didn't pay attention to things.
I sighed. It's 10:00am now, and the sun was starting to burn my skin.
11:00am. Still nothing.
I waited an hour longer.
12:00nn. Nothing, not even a breath from them. I stood up and looked for a shade, I could handle waiting for them, but the heatstroke, no, no I couldn't. I was just staring at the front door of the mansion, at least they allowed me to cross the goddamn gate. I closed my eyes to rest my body, and waiting until someone went out the house.
At 3:30pm, a servant from the house went out, and I immediately ran out my car. I didn't walk in the house, but I did peek through inside. No one was out in the living room, where the hell are Pete and Venice? I was starting to feel bad, I know what I did was wrong, I had no idea how to make it up to Pete and that demon child. But I never wanted that to happen...
Exactly 5:47pm, Arm, one of Tankhun's bodyguard went out to smoke. He recognized me so he offered a wai and asked why I was outside and what I was waiting for.
I told him Pete went to Tankhun since Friday and still hasn't come back, he just frowned at me and looked confused.
"Oh? Didn't he tell you? He and Khun Noo went to Germany."
Germany?! What the fuck are they doing in Germany?! I felt my soul leave my body.
Arm scratched his head, "But he did say they'll be back before today ends, maybe Pete didn't know you'll wait for them? But why are you out here, Khun Vegas? You should come in." He invited.
I pointed at the guards who caught our attention.
"Good day, N'Arm. Khun Tankhun requested, under Khun Pete's orders, to not let Khun Vegas in the mansion until they say so." I rolled my eyes.
"Oh... But he's already burning his skin off." He tried to argue. "Pete will regret his decision and blame himself until Khun Vegas' skin comes back to normal. Well, unless he's really mad at you and will prefer to see you in pain rather than comfortably waiting for them." He innocently asked.
I mentally groaned, "Why do you think I'm waiting here and not at home?" I sarcastically asked him. "Whatever, I'll take my leave now."
He wished me good luck with Pete when he comes home. I just nodded and thanked him before driving to the company and let myself drown in paperwork. I handled our legal work and at the same time, the dirty works under the table.
It was a very tiring day, even the employees noticed I was extra tired and looked... well, burnt. I was out in the heat for hours, oh c'mon I'd pay a billion bahts to whoever can handle that heat without burning.
I got home past midnight and noticed a few lights still open, I remembered closing everything when I left. Maybe the maids are cleaning again? I sighed and went straight to my room not paying attention to anything at all.
I let out a curse when I stepped on a piece of rectangular lego. "What the fuck is this doing here? I remember putting it all back in the toy box..." I picked it up and placed it on the desk so I could fix myself ready to sleep.
