Kai's POV
"WERE IS MY CAKE I GOT A NEW ONE ON WEDNESDAY ON IT FRIDAY!" Cole yelled and I laughed I had the last piece of Cole's cake in my lap and I was eating it. Cole came walking over to my room and I had to eat the last bit very fast and hid the plate under the bed. Cole came in and he had puppy eyes. "baby can we please go to the bakery and get me some more cake and I will give you a piece."Cole begged and I gave him a nod. "Guys I am going to the bakery to get Cole some cake and I will bring us some doughnuts for later," I said and walked out with Cole.
When we got to the bakery Cole went in and I sat in a free booth. Cole looked at the cake window and put his finger to his chin trying to pick what cake he wanted but I knew that he was going to pick the chocolate one every time. He stayed there for 3 minutes. "Babe I love you but I am giving you 1 minute to pick the cake and then I am leaving with you with your cake or not but I am waiting in the car, "I told Cole left the shop and he knew I was not playing because I did it one time. He pointed to the chocolate cake. "I will just get this one please." He said and the lady working there got the cake for him.
When I got out I heard a big bang and covered my eras, there were honks and then sirens. " Kai take a breath in and out," I said to myself out loud, I toke a breath and followed the sound. I walked around the corner and walked onto the main road. There was a two-car pile-up with a truck and a car. In the car was a lady who had a slit eyebrow and in the truck was a man who looked to be a bit drunk but there was no injury to him. I ran back to the shop. "Hi, miss do you think you can hold the cake for us there is just an emergency that we have to go to, "I said dragging Cole out of the shop and running back to the car crash.
Cole and I both ran to help the people out, Cole went to help the lady who was stuck under the truck and I went to help the man in the truck. "Hey, buddy I need you to unbuckle your seat belt and slid out of the truck," I said to the man and he did follow my instructions. When he got out paramedics toke him.
Cole's POV
I was helping the lady out of her car when she pointed to the truck, it was lening on side and Kai was underneath it. "Sir the truck and the fire ninja."She said and I looked at Kai. "KAI!" I yelled but I was too late the truck fell on Kai and I heard a pained scream. I got the lady out as quickly as I could and I ran over to the truck. There was a small hole in the roof and it was big enough for my hand to go through. "Kai look at me ok it's going to be ok I need you to be brave for me, "I said looking through the small hole and I saw that his foot was stuck under the small window that Kai just fit through. "Kai I am going to left the truck up so you can get your foot out but it's too heavy for me to let you out ok so when you have your foot out I need you to cover your ears and then go into the corner and stay there until I get you out ok," I said trying calm Kai down. He looked up at me. "Please make the noise stop I dont like it," Kai said covering his ears. "Ok, on the count of 3 I will left the truck and then you must take your foot out ok," I said putting my hand through the hole and Kai held my hand. He gave me a nod I toke my hand out and got ready to lift the truck. "1, 2, 3" I said and lifted the truck. Kai took his foot out and moved into the corner.
I put the truck down and looked through the hole and saw Kai freaky out. I let out a breath. "EVERYONE STOP MAKING SO MUCH SOUND OR YOU ARE GOING TO BE CRUSHED!" I yelled and lifted all of the rocks that were around me and formed a bigger rock. everyone stopped. "thank you now I want two firefighters with me, and everyone with sirens TRUN THEM OFF AND TO THE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN THERE CARS HONKING STOP IT NOW!" I yelled. I looked up and saw the others come and they were confused. "Cole where is Kai," Nya said coming over to me. "Kai is inside of the truck and is freaking out but his foot got to court in the way when the truck fell so his foot so Zane when we get him out I need you to look him over, but what I need all of you to do is make sure that NO ONE makes a noise Kai is already freaky out as it is, "I told them and they nodded running off. "Sir you asked two of us to be with you."One of the firefighters said. "Yes now what I need you to do is get two chang saw and give me some ear muffs and on my mark, you are going to get the back of the truck open," I told them and they both nodded.
They came back with the ear muffs and gave them to me, I walked back over to the truck and found Kai in the corner trying his best to hide. "hey firefly I will give you these ear muffs don't take them off until you see me ok."I said putting my hand through the hole and handing Kia the muffs, Kai flung at me and hugged my arm. "Please hurry up I do not like it here it's too loud," Kai said and I felt tears running down my arm. "I know baby I know but just hold on a bit but don't go into the middle of the truck and just stay where you are, "I said rubbing his face. He let go and went back to where he was and put the ear muffs on and put his hands over them, he closed his eyes and let the tears fall. "Ok Kai is ok now," I said and the firefighter started trying to get the back of the truck open.
When they had opened it enough for me to finish it with my hands, I did. I opened the back of the truck and looked in it ad saw Kai hiding and he was crying to himself. I walked over to him trying to be quiet but it was hard in the middle of the truck. When I got to Kai I put my hand on his arm telling him that I was there, he looked up at me and then flung himself at my chest. I hugged him and rubbed his back. "I not like I not like it I not like it," Kai muttered to himself. "shh, it's over now ok we can go home now and snuggle," I said trying to calm him down. I got up and walked out of the truck Kai still hiding himself, he still had the era muffs on and was still muttering the same words over and over again.
I got out of the truck and Zane was waiting there for Kai, but he just held on tighter to me. "Kai baby Zane just needs to look at your foot and you need to give back the ear muffs," I said to Kai but he shook his head. "Jay can you go up and get Kai's ear muffs, please, "I asked Jay and he nodded.
Jay came back with Kai's ear muffs and we had to swop them quickly. "Kai I have your ear muffs and I need to take off those and put these on ok," I said and I sat kai down on the ground. "please make it quick I do not like it," Kai said in a small voice. "on 3 ready 1, 2, 3, "I said and toke off Kais one he had on and put his ones on. I picked Kai back up and gave the firefighter back their ear muffs and walked away. I went back to the bakery to get my cake and put Kai into the car and drove to a quicker place. "See you at home just going out to calm Kai down." I said over the coms. "yep, see you at home, ok" was heard over the com and I drove Kai and me to the beach where we loved to go. We stayed at the beach and watched the sunset.
