Kai's POV
As I watched Nya transform into her water form and felt part of me break I could hear the others running around the building we were in. I only stared at Nya forgetting about the others. "Kai we have to go." Someone said and grabbed my arms pulling me away from the window. When we got out we saw Nya in her water form fighting Kalmaar I still watched in horror.
The fight went on and Nya defeated Kalmaar but he still was alive and we did not know where he was so when Nya landed she looked at us confused like she forgot what she was before this and I stayed silent, Nya walked the edge and Jay tried to stop her but she jumped and the water vanished. I took a shaking breath and backed away hoping that no one will follow me.
I jumped off the building and was looking for Kalmaar and was going to kill him. "Kai where di..." Cole asked in the earpiece but I took it out and dropped it on the ground and left it there. I looked in all of the remaining water bodies to find him and I found him trying to leave. I ran up to him and grabbed him and started to fight with him. "YOU KILLED MY SISTER!" I yelled at him lighting my hand on fire and trying to burn him but he wrapped his tentickals around me one around my neck and slowly choking me and another was around my waist and crushing me slowly. I dropped my hand into the water trying to free myself but he was too strong for me to get out so I gave in. "You are a foolish boy," Kalmaar whispered in my ear and squeezed tighter around my waist making it harder to breathe. I let out a pained scream, my vision was now becoming hazy and I could just make out Kalmaar face before I passed out.
Cole's POV
After Nya jumped off the edge of the building I looked behind me to see Kai walking away and looked even from the edge following with my eyes and I could see from the way he moved that he was very calm. I put my finger to my earpiece trying to get to Kai. "Kai where di." The line went fuzzy and I knew Kai was over his edge. The others and I have called it the 'killing calm' and that only led to bad things so I ran back to Lloyd, Zane and Jay. "Guys Kai is in a killing calm we have to go now before he kills someone or gets killed himself," I said to them and they looked at me. That was when we heard a scarm and they looked at me with worried eyes. "We have to find him before we lose someone else." Lloyd said starting to walk over to the edge and we followed him.
When we got to the groud we looked around and at eachother. "Zane can you do a scan to find Kai." Jay asked him and he nodded. Zane did the scan and he started to walk to were Kai was and we followed. When we got to were Kai was, we saw Kalmaar had Kai in his tentacals and Kai was passed out. "Kai." I said under my breath and I ran ford had my hammer in hands and hit Kalmaar in the face and he relised Kai and little bit but still had Kai in his grip. "LET.HIM.GO!" I yelled at him and kept swinging my hammer at him. Zane, Jay and Lloyd had come up behind me and started using their powers to get Kai out of his grip. "Now why would I do that its much more fun killing two of your friends then one." Kalmaar said with a evil smile and we looked at Kai and saw that Kalmaar was tightning his grip around him.
I looked at Kai my heart breaking, I looked behind Kai and saw his sword. I droped my hammer and ran for Kais sword and grabbed it, I striked at Kalmaar tenticks that were around Kai and sliced them off. Kai fell and I caught him before he hit the ground, even if he was passed out his was still stragling to breath. "ZANE HELP ME PLEASE!" I yelled starting to cry. Zane came over and tried to take Kai away from me but I held him closer. "Cole I need to look at Kai but with you holding him closer it will not help him or me." Zane said putting a hand on my shoulder trying to calm me down. "NO Kai is staying with me!" I yelled at Zane, Lloyd and Jay came behind me and both of them put and hand my shoulder. I looked down at Kai and held his hand taking a shakey breath in. "But you will give him back to me right." I looked at Zane and he gave me a nod. "Promise." Zane told me and I gave Kai to Zane.
I watched Zane help Kai adn like he said he gave Kai back to me, I held me close and held his hand. I gentily rocked him back and forth hoping that Kai would wake up soon and he did. "Cole...where is Nya." Kai asked looking up at me and put his head back on my cheast. "Kai...Nyas gone...she saved us all and will you almost got yourself killed." Lloyd told him, me not having the heart to tell him that his sister was gone. I looked down at Kai and he hide his face and he gripped my top. I started rocking him back and forth again trying to calm him down and started to rub his back. "no your lieing Nya is not GONE!" Kai yelled starting to panik. "Hey Kai look at me your going to be ok Nya is gone but she saved all of us and you." I said in a soft voice darwing circels on his back. I felt his breathing become quick, I did not know what to do but I kissed Kai on his forhead hopping that would calm him down and he cruled closer to me and he plced his head over my hart, I held him closer. "You want leave my right." Kai said in a very soft voice and I kissed him again. "Promise firefly." I said and hugged him.
Kai put his head back on my hart and still gripped my top. I smiled and I got up and held Kai close. The others new that me and Kai were going home so they followed us. "Love you rocky." Kai said and I smiled even more. "Love you too." I said.
