As soon as we get back to the house I go change into some comfy clothes. Then I take my thick brown hair out of its braid to find it wavy. I walk out of the room and find Jason sitting on the couch staring at nothing but empty space. I decide not to say anything,so I walk over to the couch and sit down. I feel really awkward in the strange silence when Jason finally breaks it." You can turn on the TV if you want."he says as he hands me the remote." Where is grandma?"I ask not wanting it to get quite again." She is looking for places."he says just enough for me to know what he means. I turn the tv on when my phone dings.
Hey,do you want to go see a movie with me Tuesday night?
Sure, let me ask when my grandma gets back.
I reply back, wondering if Sarah is just trying to take my mind off of all that's going on. I turn the TV on and find NCIS on. It's the only good show on and there isn't a lot of movies here. Jason and I sit in complete silence with only the TV for sound, until I hear the garage door open and hear the slamming of the car door. Then some one crying,I realized that I'm walking to the door when my grandma walks in with red puffy eyes.
She sees me and nods telling me that I should probably go back to the couch. So we sit there yet again without talking until my grandma walk in with a bag of chips and asks if we want any." No,I'm fine."I say not hungry due to the big breakfast I had this morning. Jason grabs a handful and eats them slowly, like he is thinking of each individual bite. I get up and walk to my room and lay down, processing what has happened and what could happen. I realize that some time later from now I will figure out what happened to mom and dad. Even though the officer said it was a three car pile up,doesn't mean I can't figure out what exactly happened.
