My door suddenly slammed opened and Tucker ran in.
"Heard of knocking?" Roxanne shot at him from the floor.
Roxanne's been here about a week here, and I will say she's gotten comfortable with everything pretty fast. She has her own room, but occasionally there are days like this where she wants to chill in my room. Doesn't bother me though, she usually doesn't say anything.
"Huh? What are you even doing here!" He snapped.
"Just chillin." She flipped a page in her magazine. "Why? Got a problem?"
"What?" Tucker cocked his head, confused. "No. Blah, whatever. You don't matter." Tucker switched to me. "Is it true Arthur?"
"Is what true?"
"Is she coming today?" He asked, panic present in his voice.
"Yeah. She did say she'd come once she mastered flying after all."
"Ugh."
"Who are you two babbling on about?" Roxanne's eyes departed from her magazine for the first time.
"We, uh, met a girl while we were on vacation in Fu Sei."
"And you caught feelings?" Roxanne teased.
"No. not at all!"
"Alright, pipe down. Was just yankin yer chain."
"You don't understand." He cried. "She's crazy! She chained us to the floor and tried to poison us! Then later went on a rampage and nearly destroyed the entire town."
"Don't forget the latter was your fault," I chimed in.
"I know. I know...wait, I thought you said it was it was our fault!"
"Yeah, I did. But I'm not taking blame for that anymore."
"That's not fair!"
"So what's the big deal with her?" Roxanne asked.
"Nothing really," I said. "She's a demon weapon user like us, but she's kinda different."
"How so?"
"Well," Tucker started, "there apparently are these things called blessings. They're like small gifts from the goddesses that anyone can receive if you're deemed worthy. It can range from becoming a slightly better cook to having basically super strength."
"Hm. And?"
"I guess because she loves the goddesses so much, she has a lot of them."
"Huh? That sounds kinda cool." She looked genuinely interested. "What does hers do?"
Tucker stretched his arms out. "For starters, she has freaking Angel wings!"
"Sounds lame." Roxanne expressed. "I want my wings black. Wait, no. One black, one white. That's the style."
"Listen!" Tucker snapped. "To make matters worse, she can see through all lies."
"And she's immune to poison," I added.
"And she's immune to mental attacks. And all diseases."
"And you can't use a sneak attack or ambush her."
"And she can freaking curse you!" Tucker spat.
"And she can see other people's blessings."
"You sure you guys aren't just making this crap up? No one's stupid enough to give someone all that." Roxanne said.
"That's not the worst part. None of that is her weapon's power!"
"Wait, seriously?"
"She has light magic," I said.
