Y/NS POV
Later that day

that day I got a call from my mom saying that her and dad wouldn't be home for awhile, apparently they were visiting dad's family and they still don't even fucking know about me so I couldn't come

"Mike your not keeping her in your basement forever" I say to Mike after getting off the phone and looking at Mike handing the girl some eggos

"I'm not gonna keep her forever..just for a while until we can find will" Mike said turning slightly to face me

"She's not gonna stay in your basement Mike, I have a guest room at my house and my parents aren't home so she can stay there" I say then I see Mike about to start protesting about it

"Mike I'm older than you listen to me or I'm telling hopper about her" I said, of course I wouldn't actually hand her into the police but Mike thought I would

"Fine, but how are you gonna get her outside without people noticing her head?" He asked obviously not knowing that hoodies had hoods

"It's simple, she just wears a hoodie and puts the hood up" I replied then Mike nodded then helped the girl up off the floor after she finished eating the eggos

"Okay el your gonna go stay with y/n for awhile okay?" Mike said then the girl nodded

Mike grabbed the bag of clothes I gave her earlier and handed it to me and I threw it around my shoulder

Mike pulls up the girls hair then says goodbye to us both and leads us outside

"Mike you know we can walk on our own right?" I said jokingly but Mike took slight offence to this and left us alone

Awhile into the walk to my house it got very very quiet so I decided to ask the girl some questions

"So uhh whats your name?" I said, I heard Mike calling her el earlier but that was probably a nickname

"Eleven" She said quietly as she started walking slightly faster

"Oh cool, anyway we shouldn't be walking too far now, my house is close to here" I said trying to walk faster

She nodded then we both continued to walk back

*timeskip*

I took out my house key as we reached the front door and I unlocked unlocked door and let the girl in first

"Uh cmon ill show you to the guest room" I said as I started walking upstairs and to the guest room

"So this is gonna be your room and Uh the room beside it is the bathroom and then my room" I said then she tried to open the door but it wouldn't budge

"Oh yeah I guess you'll need the key, don't lose it because it'd my only key for that room" I said handing her the small golden key and she nodded before using it to open the door

"Make yourself at home kid, I'm gonna go make you some food and then you can watch TV or something" I then walked downstairs and into the kitchen

Alright..what foods do kids like...I usually ate weird things as a kid but I don't think she would want to eat any glue or grass

I settled on making fries and chicken nuggets, now let's just hope she isn't a vegan or vegetarian

Awhile later she walked downstairs wearing the blue hoodie and an old pair of grey sweatpants along with some old slip on sandals

"Is food ready yet?" She asked walking into the living room then sitting down on the couch

"Yeah almost, put on the TV there" I said peaking my head out of the kitchen then I realised she probably didn't know what to do as she looked around confused

I was about to go tell her she needed to use a remote control but I saw her sorta glare at the TV then I turned on

"Oh yeah I forgot your sorta psychic" I said to myself, hey it didn't seem that odd..with all the movies about people with psychic abilities someone like that must exist

I walked back into the kitchen and checked the food and it was fully cooked so I grabbed a plate and put the food on it, I then grabbed a bottle of flavoured water and brought it to the living room

I handed the girl the plate of food then put the drink onto the table sitting infront of the couch

"So what are you watching?" I asked then she just pointed to the TV where a gameshow was playing

I glanced to the clock and noticed the time..fuck how long was I at Mike's house for..and how long did it take to walk home?

9:14

"Uh after you finish eating you can finish watching this then straight to bed" I said..it was a bit hard acting like a parent to this kid but I feel like I done a better job than my parents already

She looked at me then nodded then turned her attention back to the TV and started eating her food

She quickly ate the food..jeez how hungry was this kid..
I brought the plate to the kitchen as she continued to sit and watch TV

I peaked my head back into the living room "do you like ice cream?" I asked and she quickly nodded

I grabbed some icecream from the freezer and scooped some into a bowl then put a spoon into the bowl too then walked back to the living room with it and handed it to her

"Thank" she mumbled taking the icecream then starting to eat it, I felt like a proud parent yknow

I was actually alright until I noticed I had to do the dishes and my mood immediately dropped

"Bring me that bowl once you've finished eating" I said then walked back to the kitchen and grabbed the yellow cleaning gloves sitting beside the sink and started washing dishes

*small timeskip*

"Alright el time to go to bed" I said taking off the yellow cleaning gloves then turning off the TV

She didn't protest to it..usually when I babysit kids they become complete assholes when I turn off the TV and tell them to sleep...

"Goodnight" She says before walking up to her room and closing the door

"Goodnight el" I said as she was walking upstairs, I turned off all the lights then walked to my own room

Alright..today was kind of successful..

Hey guys, sorry for the shitty filler chapter I just wanted to focus abit on the relationship of el and y/n and by relationship I mean how y/n is kinda an older brother or parental figure to el

Also I Don't really like the idea of el staying in Mike's basement and sleeping in the basement too
