"We decided to surprise you." Elena voiced.

"Surprise me with what?" Miranda questioned.

"Well me and your father know that you and Tucker's divorce is almost finalized and after the kidnapping we know it must be hard being alone. We didn't want you to be alone for Thanksgiving this year so we bought plane tickets." Elena told Miranda. You could hear the happiness in her voice.

"Oh no ma that's not necessary." Miranda replied.

"We already bought them." Elena pouted.

"Well I'll reimburse you." Miranda suggested.

"Why don't you want us to come?"

"It's not that. It's just I am doing a lot of different things and I need to get use to being alone. You guys can't come and bail me out every time. "

"Miranda we are coming to spend Thanksgiving with you. We are worried about you and that's the end of discussion." William cut in and Miranda rolled her eyes.

"Fine." Miranda relented she talked to them for a while before hanging up.

"What's the matter?" Ben asked walking into the living room.

"My parents bought plane tickets to visit me for Thanksgiving."

"And what's wrong that?" Ben questioned sitting beside her.

"Because I'm almost finished getting divorced, I am living with my kidnapper-

"I did not kidnap you." Ben cut her off.

"Ben let's not act like you did not put a gun to my head and tell me to drive off." Miranda replied.

"But I was just doing that for the cameras I would never do that to you or hurt you." Ben huffed.

"Okay and the forcing me to come live with you. Despite me saying no."

"That's was for your own safety." Ben yelled.

"Why are you so upset? I'm only staying facts."

"You are painting me out to be a bad guy and I'm not. I would never hurt you and everything I have done was for your safety." He huffed again.

"I know that you are not a bad guy Benjamin." Miranda voiced reaching out to touch his face. Ben turned so he wouldn't look at her.

"Ben look at me." Miranda said sternly but he ignored her.

Miranda clicked her teeth and pushed his arm over before straddling his lap.

"I know Benjamin Warren that you would never hurt me. I was only stating how we met and what happened the first 2 times. I know who you are and I trust you." Miranda told him after grabbing his chin between her pointer finger and thumb.

Ben looked at Miranda and he read her eyes. It meant everything for Miranda to know that he wouldn't do anything to hurt her, he liked her a lot and when he meant a lot, he meant a wholeeeeeeeeee lot.

"Okay." Miranda voiced and Ben nodded. Miranda smiled and kissed his lips twice. Ben caught her bottom lip the 3rd time and pulled it lightly between his teeth.

Miranda moaned and cupped his face. Kissing him passionately.

"Miranda I want you."

"I want you too." She replied smiling and grinding against him.

"Not just sexually. I want you to be mine. I mean I told you that you were mine on Halloween and I meant that. Maybe you are kidnapped because I'm not letting you go, in my heart. But I want you to be my girlfriend eventually and I guess I should start by asking you on a date." Ben said looking into her eyes.

"So Miranda Bailey, will you go on a date with me sometime in the future? Maybe the weekend after your parents leave." Ben said.

"Of course I would love to go on a date with you Benjamin." Miranda smiled kissing his lips again.

Thanksgiving was here and Miranda was up in the kitchen helping Author fix the food.

"Kyle do you mind picking my parents up from the airport. Their plane lands at 9 am."

"Yes ma'am, that is not a problem." Kyle smiled.

"Thank you."

"Mmm it's smells good in here." Ben commented and he walked over to Miranda who was stirring what looked like cake mix.

Ben snuggled into her neck. "And you smell even better. "

Miranda giggled. " thank you. Author tells me that he hasn't cooked on the holidays in years."

"Yeah I don't have family so I don't really celebrate like that."

"Aww Ben." Miranda pouted.

"It's fine. I'm strong man."

"You were a strong grumpy man." Miranda laughed and Ben rolled his eyes.

The door bell rung hours later and Miranda got up and walked to the door.

"Hi come on in." Miranda smiled opening the door.

"Miranda...this is just...this is just. Wow." Elena voiced looking around as she came in.

"You really live here?" William asked.

"Um as of right now yes." Miranda answered.

"Here I will show you to your guest room where you can put your bags down and freshen up. Then we can come back down for dinner." Miranda said walking to the elevator.

"Dam its an elevator in here.”

"Yes it's also a fully equipped gym with a sauna, a home theater, in door and outdoor pool. Tennis courts, massage room and some other things."

Miranda lead her parents to their room and she waited until they were situated before she walked out.

She walked down to Ben's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in."

"Hey, my parents are here. Did you convince your brother to come?"

"I mean I told him about it. If he shows he shows, if he doesn't he doesn't "

"Ben." Miranda pouted.

"No, Miranda, I did nothing wrong to him and he's treating me as if I did. He only comes here with his hand out. If he doesn’t want to be close to me anymore, that's on him." Ben argued.

Dinner time rolled around and Miranda and Ben were both surprised even Curt showed up. Miranda introduced herself because Ben was too busy glaring at him. She found that Curt was really funny and light hearted.
When her parents came down Miranda introduced Ben and Curt as they took a seat.

The conversation was flowing easily between Elena, Ben Curt, and Miranda. William was still reserved.

"I still can't believe you and Tucker are through."

"I know right, I never saw it coming but I'm happy. I'm happy that I chose me."

"Maybe if you had gave us some grandchildren you wouldn't be divorced." William commented.

"Let's not do that." Miranda gritted.

"I'm just saying."

"No dad, you know I tried for seven years to have a baby with Tucker. So don't talk like I didn't want to give my husband children. That has nothing to do with out divorce." Miranda snapped.

"Miranda-

"No don't Miranda me. That was insensitive as hell. Of course I wanted kids. I just can't get pregnant and that made me feel less of a woman and as a wife. So for you to bring that up..." Miranda voiced and you could hear her voice breaking.

"Excuse me. I'll be right back." Miranda voiced.

Ben looked at Miranda dad and he clicked his teeth. He could throw him out on his face. Nobody had the right to hurt Miranda's feelings. She shouldn't ever cry and in her own home.

"Look what you did." Ben found himself gritting as he stood. He shot daggers at William before he turned and walked out.

Ben paced the floor trying to calm down before he walked down to the bathroom where Miranda went.

He opened the door and saw Miranda wiping her eyes. "I'm sorry." Miranda mumbled.

"No, you don't get to be sorry. I can have my guys throw all of them out on there sorry asses." Ben huffed and his fist was balled.

"Woah calm down tiger. They are still our family." Miranda giggled.

"Right right. I'm sorry. I just don't want anyone to disrespect and hurt your feelings. I don't like that." Ben sighed rubbing his temple.

"Parents. They think they know everything but absolutely know nothing." Miranda chuckled.

"They seem like they are stressing you." Ben commented.

"Yeah they are." Miranda admitted.

"I can give you a little stress relief tonight." Ben told her with a smirk and Miranda looked at him questionably.

She watched as Ben flicked his tongue out and wiggled it a little. Miranda laughed loudly and nudge him. "You are so-" She started but Ben pulled her into a kiss.

"So what?" Ben asked.

"Nasty, sexy, and thrilling." Miranda answered.

"And you just taste so good." Ben told her pulling her tighter by her dress.

"How do you just do that and you don't get anything in returned?” Miranda asked wrapping her arm around his neck.

"It's like eating candy or ice cream. I get satisfied just by eating you and you cumming is cherry on the top." Ben said sensual looking into her eyes.

"Jesus." Miranda whispered turned on.

"Are you getting wet?" He asked rubbing the sides of her hips.

"Mmmm-hmmm." She nodded.

"Stay that way." He said before turning and pulling her out the bathroom.

"Sorry." Miranda apologized walking into the dining room.

"Sorry for my outburst as well." Ben cleared his throat as he took his seat and Miranda looked at him.

"No, William has something he needs to say." Elena said nudging him.

"I'm sorry Miranda. You are right what I said was rude and insensitive. I'm still getting use to you getting a divorce and I guess I was still a little irritated finding out right when it was finalized. But still I had no right to talk to you like that." William apologized.

"Thank you." Miranda nodded.

"Okay now that the awkwardness is over. Mrs. Bailey I would like to hear all about Miranda’s embarrassing childhood stories." Ben smiled.
